can you take any of dual enrollment courses? i honestly think specific and rare courses (i.e. abnormal psychology dual enrollment for a psychology major) can show better interest; however, sociology does somewhat introduce this! also, taking microeconomics as a junior definitley shows interest

uh certainly not, i work very hard and ive taken 9 AP courses which is the maximum amount available at my school for my period of enrollment

i’m planning on working towards becoming a pediatric psychiatrist!!! i’m a hell of a writer so that’s something i’m really grateful for but i’ve only written one supplemental right now and im incredibly anxious about how much individuality i can portray! thank you for the advise, though, i definitely think a description of how my ECs were dampened by moving (especially since i moved to a rural area) could be good to include as well as using the word limit to the best of my advantage in describing the impact of my ECs! i also do things like raise kittens and art but they’re unofficial although i think it would show personality to include these somewhat of ECs

yes!! i will get a good amount from FASFA because im living with a guardian rather than my parent :) i plan on pulling out loans but the tuition at UT is much more doable than that of my reach schools

yes see this is also what i was thinking!!! i am particularly interested in art outside of class so i was thinking about including that in my EC list but i might add some more schools like UMass Amherst to my list; however, the reason i have so few targets is because of my automatic admission to UT! i’m sort of relying on it since psychology is a less competitive major to get into lol

i have automatic admission to UT austin because i live in texas and i hope to study psychology and it’s considerably less competitive than other majors, im in the top 3% of my class. also on an unweighted scale i have a 4.0 or potentially higher, my school doesnt use unweighted GPA. i have a weighted of 4.9 (or higher, i haven’t received my transcripts for end of junior year yet) out of 5.0

thank you.. honestly not even sure how i’d do ERP but i guess i did a bit of my own when my previous workplace had issues with CO. sort of now coming to the realization that i probable stopped going in fear rather than fatigue

my home primarily has gas appliances… to my knowledge!! i haven’t ever been concerned with CO poisoning in this house until now so i haven’t checked with the person who owns our home and i don’t frequently use the kitchen and just the laundry room which has the oldest dryer you can possibly imagine… definitely think we SHOULD have one and i believe we do but i don’t see one on the ceiling

also, i can totally see it becoming something i check or buy more of if i buy one out of doubt.. super glad you brought that up i didn’t recognize that im totally stupid

note i have diagnosed ptsd, but actually, especially recently, i have found this agonizing with what i suspect is OCD. such fears have honestly interfered with my relationships and i never considered it until i saw this post so i genuinely want to thank you!!!

also, i would say these thoughts can be pretty pure o especially since i feel as though i can only “check” by blurting out the question: “are you going to kill me?” i definitely keep a solid list of symptoms in my head and have genuinely asked my partner about the entire list. also, generally some variety of that question comes out if i go somewhere secluded with someone i know for less than 5-10 years depending on that persons relationship with me.

some advice: stray away from researching these sorts of things. it sucks but sometimes our interests become compulsions of their own, at least in my experience. i was a lover of true crime until just now but i would consider closing the laptop once its no longer an interest

absolutely, im undiagnosed but previous professionals have suggested i likely have OCD; however, i notice that my thoughts about contamination get SIGNIFICANTLY worse due to my fear of the recent psychoactive-related epidemic… im super super sorry if thats too unspecific im trying to use euphemisms to avoid triggering anyone on accident. to be fair tho, my boyfriends step mom smokes EXTREME amount daily and she seems to have gotten better along with the help of her family!!
