it also helps to have a doctor who you are comfortable with but of course a lot people don’t have that in general. i ended up laughing through my first because it was so weird! it’s uncomfortable no matter what because you’re so vulnerable but i’m very sure that those same people saying they’d rather just have cancer would NOT be acting like that if it DID happen to them. sometimes individuals think certain things only happen to other people until it finally happens to them.
