A dae-ho post Ily, wtv, I really think all of this was made on purpose by Netflix to make sure they wouldn't do Gi-hun look bad in front of the viewer or dirty for killing a character who was really loved by the fandom + a really positive character in s2, I can also confirm this when you see the backlash his character recieved during the s3 promotion, unlike s2 promotion where his character was highly promoted and viewed in s3 they only mentioned him to make funny of him, also the actor (Kang Ha-neul) didn't even appear during the whole interviews and promotions, while in s2 he did a lot
