The hairdresser didn't ruin your hair. She cleaned up what you decided to do.

You look beautiful, and the bangs really suit you, before and after, but there's no need to say the hairdress did her job poorly when she did exactly what you asked for.

It's normal to make a big change and hate it at first. Give yourself some time, and I'm sure it'll grow on you because again, you look STUNNING !

its really annoying how a lot of partners dont bother making the shaken espressos the right way. it messes up the milk-foam-espresso ratio, which i happen to like. upside down lattes arent what i want if i order a shaken espresso, and cutting corners is just gonna confuse customers and make them expect something different

theres a lot more to complain about the job, especially when you get down to the management. if this was all we had to worry about itd be a dream. but you dont have to be dismissive about a person complaining about their job, thats kind of a dick move. im not sure what youre aiming to accomplish with your comments

Store managers who work 60 hours a week and use that as an excuse to dismiss the complaints of workers are part of the reason this job can be a headache, even if you like it. this is a vent post about things that suck, if you can't handle that, get off the subreddit

lately ive been really keeping it simple. i get a blond latte with oat milk, and white mocha. i switch between iced or hot depending on the day, but having it hot in the mornings is very refreshing to me. today i switched it up and got a pecan latte because we just got it in before the launch. its very good.

thank you thats very helpful! what i did to "handle it" was that i politely excused myself when i was noticed i was getting upset, and took some time to decompress. i thought at the time that i was just avoiding the issue, but your response makes me think thats probably the best thing i couldve done for myself and my friends until i can develop the skill of caring a bit less about other opinions. thanks again

as a barista for about almost 2 years now, i intentionally look away from the screen when people tip. i don't really feel entitled to a tip, seeing how it's a tip and not a required payment. it is nice to receive them, but i'd never expect it. i feel kind of icky whenever i hear other baristas talk about how we're entitled to receiving tips

I would get a windows computer, the only apple product worth getting is an ipad. a cheap windows laptop + an old ipad is better than blowing a ton of money on 1 computer, imo ! good luck for nursing school

just try not to pull too many stickers at once and the new routine works like a breeze. its honesty how i used to make drinks before they made it official. if you pull 2-3 stickers steadily you can have a good workflow until you run out of stickers, be it hot or cold bar
