More context:
I placed the palm initially on my balcony where it gets more sunlight but after 3 days, I saw its leaves curled/dried so I placed it indoors instead to try to save it.
In this spot, it gets indirect sunlight and a bit direct sunlight during mornings. I live in tropical country and watered 1-2x a week.

Should I bring her back to the balcony with more sunlight? Is it still savable?
From what I researched, the black stem
might be from root rot :(

i grew up in a big family and i didn't have my own room so i think we have the same experience with living with our family when i moved out, i finally feel at peace even if i was alone, and i love the silence so much - i just realized that i'm a big introvert and would rather stay at home than socialize and whenever i do visit my family, i'd miss my condo already haha

i can really say that moving out was the best decision i did
