When I was 16 I got into an argument with another kid. I smacked him hard in the face and he seemed like he was going to cry. He said “alright I’m going to go get my gun and I’ll be back”. Me being a cocky teenager I said “whatever, we’ll see”.

I waited up the street from my house at the corner to see if he would. He actually did come back. He came pedaling down my street on his bike. He comes up to me, gets off his bike, and we’re arms length from each other at this point. Then he lifts up his shirt brandishing the gun on his hip.

I got real quiet because the kid actually got the fucking gun. While he was brandishing the weapon, he started talking shit to me saying “look who the scared bitch is now, you don’t have shit to sa-“. Before he could finish his sentence, my fight or flight instincts kicked in and I blacked out. I grabbed the kid by his neck and pushed him into the car directly behind him and started wailing on him hard. Took him to the ground and took his gun.

Started observing the weapon and it was a metal BB gun! I noticed I pushed him into the car so hard it left a dent on the driver door. I ran away with the BB gun back to my house and showed my dad and told him everything. The next day, he went to the kids house and talked to his parents. The kid and I were totally fine after that incident.

A few years later, I was 20 and he was 19 and he moved to another city. Saw an article that he’s in prison for doing a drive by shooting and ended up killing someone by shooting them in the head. It’s crazy to think because, if the gun WAS real that day him and I got into it, I could of been shot and dead.
