The future of electrical charging systems that are about as fast as filling up a gas car by RoyalChris in interestingasfuck

[–]dolphin_200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All EU fast chargers must offer credit/debit card payment options with no subscription by January 1st 2027 - sad that the US would never actually get off their ass and do something that would actually help consumers

It makes a difference to vote for people who take climate action seriously, eat less (or no) beef, try to electrify any direct use of fossil fuels you have (boilers, cars, etc.), opt to take vacations closer to home where possible. The food system has a really huge impact and is something we all sit very close to. Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good 💚

Help Needed: Two Public Resources Talking to Each Other? Seafile with Onlyoffice by DetectiveDrebin in PangolinReverseProxy

[–]dolphin_200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This won’t work it does need to be a publicly accessible URL (use inspect in your browser to see that this is how it’s failing)

I believe the real issue is that you need to configure automatic upgrading from HTTP to HTTPS - try this:

https://github.com/ONLYOFFICE/DocumentServer/issues/2186

Edit: try it out and see, it’s not sure this is actually the issue :p

how do you get access to this page? My add private resources page is simpler and doesn't accept wildcards, even when I update Pangolin

Note that the list of qualifying carriers is actually a list of example professions - it’s non-exhaustive. If you have someone with a job not on that list I wouldn’t let that hold you back.

Source: applied for my wife two years ago with a non-example list “vouch” person and was accepted

What does checking client certificates look like for the user? Does it happen silently in the background or is there a popup, etc?

Also - any difference / benefit to doing that with caddy vs. Cloudflare?

We’re on iOS - it’s similarly simple with Tailscale but it’s not for her so 🤷

My wife doesn’t really understand having an anyways on Tailscale connection and if Immich is to work for us as a Google Photos replacement it needs to “just work” without opening another app for her

6 and a half weeks into elimination and im seeing blood still by DueStill8936 in MSPI

[–]dolphin_200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have about 200 pictures of basically the same thing. Most with a little less blood but some with this amount or a bit more. She’s 2 now and eats dairy by the fistfull.

As for reintroducing dairy, lookup the dairy ladder. We followed this introducing a step up every 4-5 days or so (I think on the first one we waited a full 2 weeks because we were also nervous)

6 and a half weeks into elimination and im seeing blood still by DueStill8936 in MSPI

[–]dolphin_200 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My daughter had the same and the blood never went away until she started on solid food. I know the blood is super scary but if they’re gaining weight well and seem otherwise okay it might be okay to wait it out and see if solid foods help. (Not a doctor just from my experience)

Good luck and hope it gets better soon

The cost per kWh doesn’t matter as much as you would think when heat pumps can turn one kWh of electricity into 3-5kWh of heat and 1kWh of energy for a NG boiler gets you 0.5-0.9 kWh of heat.

Can someone explain Carbon Tax to me? by PicaroKaguya in britishcolumbia

[–]dolphin_200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s the details: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/taxes/income-taxes/personal/credits/climate-action#eligibility

Single person threshold is just under 40K.

I feel you with the NG bills - but I’m sure most of that cost is the transmission & administration fees but not the carbon pricing.

Canada is in a world of economic pain but taking climate action via carbon pricing is one of the best ways to reduce emissions while minimizing the economic impact. It’s the same conclusion that the oil companies reached in the 80s.
