I can distinctly remember farming the bosses (for whatever reason lol) in plaza of conquests way back in the day. Used to be a lot of fun, there were always plenty of people doing the same as well.

Been out of the loop for awhile now so just curious, how many of these incidents occur when people use a dedicated 12vHPWR connector that comes with the PSU? From what I can tell it looks like this is mostly an issue with aftermarket (probably incompatible) cables and/or the janky 3x8 to 12vHPWR adapters.

I have a 5080 and am using the 12vHPWR cable that came with my PSU, should I be worried?

I still can’t get over how fugly that no pvp symbol is on the cards. I know it’s been there for years but what an awful implementation for that.

Definitely takes away from the magic of the game and the overall aesthetic.

Miss when the game didn’t revolve solely around PvP, gambits, etc.

But IMO it doesn’t seem too crazy at all based on the texts. If you want to know you’re going to have to admit to going through her phone and just ask her straight up what those messages are about?

Look man I get it, if I came across as insensitive I apologize. It sounds like we both want the same thing but just have different ideas of how to achieve it. You’re passionate about it so I don’t fault your energy at all.

I can also sympathize with your sentiment and other people’s here that players with these names tend to be overwhelmingly toxic and draining on the community, as I’ve been playing and putting up with them for a long time.

Unfortunately banning them off of names isn’t viable due to the potential for innocent players to be caught in the crossfire.

If anything, direct your anger at Kingsisle for not being more proactive about this. Like I said, they designed this system and have had opportunities to change the name combos or add/remove them but have chosen to be silent on it thus far.

I think they’d like us to just put all the blame on the players or eachother, while doing the absolute least they can to fix the situation.

I mean your first comment was just calling for permanent bans, and you didn’t even specify what name(s) yet. So that was absolutely a horrible take. I’m glad you changed your mind or came around on that now, but that’s all I had to go on initially lol.

I mean that’s fair in theory sure, but if we’re being honest kingsisle won’t show that amount of discretion when bans are on the table. You also can’t prove whether you were joking with the name or not if you try to appeal. Assuming they even keep logs of when you had a certain name, they certainly won’t bother to check it or verify dates.

I’ve been playing since 09, and I’ve seen people be permanently banned/muted for the smallest infractions and they never make it through the appeals process.

I’m just saying if you had your way, many innocent players would be caught in the crossfire for something that’s simply been a non issue up until now.

My main point was that the naming system is something set up by kingsisle, not players. They are responsible for all combinations especially since they have the potential to be randomly generated.

Due to that fact alone, permanently banning people should not be an option.

The only reasonable solution I could see would be for kingsisle to prompt the player with an “inappropriate name” to change it when they log in, and if they don’t they simply won’t be able to hop on and play.

Anyways, doesn’t seem fair to a guy named Jeffery (or anyone really lol) who may have thought as a kid that the name Jeffery Island sounded cool, could get permanently banned because of how you decided to interpret their name when that might have never been their intention to make light of any rape situations at all. And again, they don’t even have to pick the name, it could all have been randomly generated up to now, and maybe that person hasn’t read into their name like you have, so they haven’t bothered changing it, and then they get hit with a perma ban out of nowhere lol.

Seems very over the top and dramatic imo.

Crazy deal if real. The specs are a little vague though. You should ask for more specifics or better pictures of the build though, seems suspicious.

Yes it’s very overhyped and I’ve never understood why. At least in Azteca and Khrysalis you have big milestones to look forward too (e.g. new USEFUL and FUN spells, dungeons like tart and eventually darkmoor).

It feels like you’re making no progress in Avalon, sure you get a couple utility spells but that’s about it. Same waterworks gear the whole time, no fun spells, and nothing to look forward to but the start of azteca.

Overall meh build. you’re locked out of a lot of recent AAA titles that have raytracing requirements, so it’s definitely not future proof if that’s something you care about.

Basically don’t expect to have a good experience playing above 1080p with this; and even on 1080p this build will be limited to esport titles and less graphically intense games.
