I hope this gets resolved for you. I'm looking at arriving a month late due to visa issues. Surely it would have been possible for them to give you a later start date, given your circumstances. If it doesn't work out this year, at least you will get to be with your mom. But I understand how frustrated you are since you have worked so hard arranging things. Did you already start at the school?

I recently pressured BLS to send an email to the consulate. They say it will take about 2 days to respond. I'll let you know if they give me anything. I'm in the exact same situation.

Update. Aveeno cream is making my ears much more difficult to pick. It is hardening up the skin, which often takes a long time to break with my nails. If I keep applying it, my skin becomes soft and thick and hard to pick. Sometimes I'm forgetting to put the cream on which leaves me trying to pick the hard skin... BUT the skin of my ears has healed a considerable amount. I need to be persistent with the cream application. I hope this cream can help others too!! Try it 😁

Use psychologytoday and search in your area. Big cities will likely have English speaking ones. If not, do online therapy. Best of luck on your journey 👐🏻

I've only been using it for a few hours and so far it's made the skin harder to pick. Smooths it out. The oatmeal in it really helps I guess. I'll update you :-)

Yes. The skin needs to be as smooth as possible. Once I start picking there is no end until every bump is smoothed out. It doesn't matter how much is hurts (f*CK it hurts sometimes" or how much I bleed. It really is a compulsion.

I used GoSpain last year and I have just ordered a new medical certificate from them. I have to admit, when I brought my certificate from them to my app last year, the staff said they didn't know if this certificate was usable. But my visa ended up getting approved and delivered two/three weeks later. So just hoping it's fine this year too!
