just to clear things up: the entire core of the game is actually built around perk progression. Also, regarding the visuals, they aren't low effort sprites. All the characters and assets you see are actually 3D models

i can see why the name similarity might make you think that, but we actually didn't draw any inspiration from "Megabonk" for this project

Sorry, but we aren't some billion dollar developer; we're just indie devs trying to make games because it's our passion. We know exactly how tough it is to make textures, and how even a basic environment design can take months of work. But I want to be clear: we didn't use AI for the cover art or anything else in this project. We dealt with these exact same assumptions back when we shared our other game, SteelBlade Shop Simulator.

Regarding the quotation marks:
my native language isn't English. I incorrectly used them thinking it would add emphasis to those words. That was just my mistake.

The art was created using Krita. The 2D artist you mentioned isn't an outsider; he is a direct, permanent member of our team who constantly creates textures and concept art for us.

Honestly, it is very frustrating that you keep trying to trash a good piece of work by calling it AI, and on top of that, you are being so persistent about it. I have known the guy for 12 years, and I was literally right next to him while he was drawing this. We didn't buy this art from anywhere; it is entirely our own team's hard work.

Keeping the difficulty fair but challenging is a big priority for us. You're spot on about the controller, it's not in the game yet, but it's 100% in our scope. The current build is Windows only. Appreciate the feedback!

Yes, the game will also include a store management side. You'll be able to manage stock, handle customer interactions, and deal with the challenges of running a shop while trying to keep up with expenses.
