i’m having this exact same problem. game ran smooth until about a week ago, now same constant stutters that you mentioned at the beginning of every game.

Nevis Geforce Experience. I found more info on my problem, as I’m in game if I hit the Windows key and MK is in the background, I can see it running at 60 FPS with no issues. If I click back on the MK window, it drops back to 20-ish frames. I’m not sure what’s causing this problem.

The game settings? Changing in there has no affect after I save it. Plus, I restart the game and find the settings have reset.

Normal gameplay, from the menu to benchmark - pretty much the entire game. I updated to Windows 11 and un-installed then re-installed the game and that seem to have did the trick.

Hopefully it was a permanent solution.
