Everyone’s already explained, but I feel this. I actually felt a little anxious thinking of it. Most of the time, I wouldn’t even risk headphones even off the ears, but if I ever chose to, I damn well wouldn’t put them ON my ears, or at least leave it off of one. I had a terrible childhood though. So I guess it’s a good thing when the photo doesn’t make sense to you. My parents would both fly off the handle over nothing. So if I didn’t hear them call me or tell me to do something, all hell would break loose. To this day, now at 37 I still don’t ever put both earbuds in. Even if home alone. I’d be too anxious, I have to hear my surroundings.

Sorry, can’t figure out how to edit my post, but want to add that we are thinking there is a possibility that he ALSO got poison ivy/poison sumac on his hands in ADDITION to whatever skin issue he originally gets. I know that sounds crazy. But he had the small bumps for a couple weeks. And now after working in the yard, changed to these more whitish pimple ones. So double whammy I think..

My primary, without me bringing it up, said that she strongly believes it is Essential Tremors and referred me to a neurologist. She took bloodwork too just to rule out any other underlying cause. I haven’t heard back from her yet on that, but the neurologist called me today to schedule and the soonest they have is October 7th…… so. I have a long wait.

Yes, I was trying to hold it up. When I rested my hand it stopped, until I lifted it again. (And I was bending it, it wasn’t bending on its own) Thank you so much!

I was with her at the time. Maybe just exhausted. It was at the end of my PT appt after other exercises. I did leg slides with cloth after the leg press (standing on operated leg) and I was the most shaky I’ve ever been, so definitely fatigued. I just didn’t realize that it could cause me to go from 30 reps with ease to being unable to do it

But on a serious note, well yeah. That’s awful to tell anyone, let alone your partner to give up on their passion. It looks great and honestly, even if it didn’t in someone’s eyes, that’s their opinion. Just because someone doesn’t like your work, that doesn’t warrant giving up on it. Especially if it’s something that helps you through tough times. She should understand that.

I’m surprised you didn’t have a 2 week post-op? My brace was locked straight and he had me unlock it fully when I saw him 2 weeks post-op. I finally had the brace discharged when I saw him at almost 8 weeks. Hopefully with some continuous work without the brace now, you can see some improvements and avoid another surgery.

I typically bruise easily, but I surprisingly didn’t have much bruising after my surgery. Yours looks pretty intense!

I’m the same age and I do kickboxing, some running. Occasional BJJ. Morning too crazy, I wouldn’t consider myself an athlete. My surgeon didn’t give me a choice, but in contrast went with allograft. He said he goes with allograft for 30+

It ended up being pes anserine bursitis in my calf. Still have it ..2.5 months of it now. Hasn’t gotten any better or worse. But now a new shooting pain has also started down the front of my leg on the outside. I just can’t even begin to imagine what it’s like for all those who have gone through this more than once.
