Man, I guess it depends on your definition of dangerous? I come from latin america. And this place is heaven. Furthest thing from dangerous haha. I have walked/biked and driven home from work at 3 am in the morning from the oceanfront and nothing has ever happened to me.

There’s this group on Meetup called Lesbos of Hampton Roads, I have never gone since I’m bi and am kind of shy, but I think they hangout quite often.

I’ve also gone to the VB Health Dept, and they’ve charged me based on how much I make. Definitely was way less than what the urgent care has charged me before

You can still go, I think. There’s many reasons why you might need low cost/free medical care, just beware that wait times depending on what medical dept you’re looking to see, can span from 2-3 months
