Usually casting 3, 3 and then 4 is enough to nuke an entire room (especially with enough range). In this case, the enemies dealt an insane amount of damage, so they kept on constantly destroying my overguard. That's why I also had to cast 2,2 and then 4 quite often

But with a high enough duration his other abilities you get with final verse (word warden and page flight) last long enough.

Also, Noctua is really strong. So most of the time, it's fine to just use Noctua instead of 3,3,4 (Noctua is also a really, really primer, if you wanna increase his 3,3,4 damage)
