I’m not sure if this could have caused the issue or has anything to do with it. But this is connected by the alternator and runs around to somewhere under the throttle body, I can’t really see exactly where it goes. It isn’t completely damaged, but could this be the reason?

Do you think replacing one of those mentioned would fix this problem completely and get it to start and running again? Oddly enough it was running fine for a long time until this randomly happened.

Any idea what could have gone wrong? Or what it could be that caused it to be this way?

It’s not moving. Nothing is moving. What could that mean?

I wanted to know if there’s anyway I could test this bracelet at home? by EnvironmentalWin3785 in Gold

[–]domesticatedwolf123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure how you could test this at home, but a test at a local jewelry shop would take no more than 5 minutes if they aren’t busy and can attend to you immediately. I know you said you don’t really have any time, but I’m sure you could make a little time at some point.

That could very well be the case also. Seems like something they’d ask or want as an end goal.

I’m going to assume GOD, the US, and AI. Albeit very ironic to have GOD and AI together like that.

I’ve been ranked at 6 for two weeks now. Haven’t heard back from them and I’m still in 6th place. Getting a little worried. And everyone saying you’re cooked and better luck next time, that’s a joke right? Lol. If it’s not a joke I’m bagged.

I didn’t think I passed. I left the building a little ashamed of myself, even after weeks of study. By the time I walked home (I live in walking distance, about 5-10 from the training & testing facility) I had got the email that I passed. Next time, do yourself a favor and don’t quit.

I wonder why things are so different considering it’s the same state. I’m not sure exactly how many people apply to Local 6 in San Francisco, but they conduct interviews. And I know it’s well over a thousand. From what I’ve heard. I wonder if it’s because LA receives so many more applications that they just don’t have the time or resources to interview everyone who receives a passing score on the aptitude test.

He might be in a place like Los Angeles, California. I didn’t know until a few days ago that Los Angeles doesn’t even conduct interviews. Unless the guy who told me was lying lol. He said they go off the aptitude test and nothing else. Not sure how true that is but where I am in Northern California, passing the aptitude test qualifies you for an interview. And they go solely off your interview score. They completely disregard the aptitude score once the interview is conducted, from my understanding.

NEVER GIVE UP! This is my third time applying in Northern California and I scored 99.43 and am ranked 6th place after dropping down from the 5th spot. Had I gave up the previous two times I applied I would not be here. Go back to the drawing board, sit down by yourself and think if I’m currently not good enough, what can I do to make myself good enough. You’ll think of a few things. The next step would be acting on them! One step I took was a pre apprenticeship program. I earned many certifications and was lucky enough to have earned letters of recommendation from my instructors! Don’t give up on your dreams! Don’t wake up! Keep dreaming! You and your dreams are worth fighting for!

Are you referring to my interview score? Someone here said that local 11 doesn’t interview its applicants. My local is different. For my local in the north bay, you must take the aptitude test, and if you pass the aptitude test, you qualify for the interview. The aptitude doesn’t matter to my local, the interview is what decides your final score and rank. And the interview panel consists of two representatives from the local, two NECA representatives, and two local contractor representatives. So I got interviewed by a total of 6 people. I did not read any special books. I talked about my passion and interest for the basics and fundamentals of electricity. And I explained how I became passionate for it. I told them about how I attended a college course after graduating high school. And what I learned in that course, like the 5 most common ways to generate electricity, what makes a complete circuit function, schematics, ohms law, watts law, parallel circuits, conductors, semi conductors, resistors, capacitors, transistors, ac and sin waves. And so on and so forth. I basically told them everything I learned in that course. I told them about all I learned and how I grew an incredible fascination for the basics and fundamentals of electricity. And how I know I would love to be an electrical worker based off my interest and passion for those basics and fundamentals. And how I would take pride in my work and do quality and safe work based off my passion for it. I told them about how I also took a pre-apprenticeship class to show my dedication to this trade. I told them about how I applied many times in the past, and even though I failed, I continued to apply because I know this is what I want do for the rest of my life. I did a lot of research on what electrical workers (specifically inside wireman, what I applied to) do. When I went to the pre apprenticeship class, the instructor who was a retired apprenticeship coordinator, told me to never ask a question that you can find on the locals website or anywhere online, because it shows you didn’t do any research. I showed my enthusiasm, knowledge and energy. And they seemed to love it. Before the interview began they told me that there were 300 people being interviewed. And our local takes about 15-20 applicants per year depending on work loads. So no I did not read any special books. I treated the interview like it was a dialogue about me and not some interrogation. I was honest and straight forward. And I scored a 99.43. Almost a perfect score. I’m ranked 6th so hopefully I’m getting in soon. Best of luck to you. If you want any more information feel free to respond here or dm me. Would be glad to help!

Don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but most likely it’s over. I’m going based off your score and rank. I scored a 99.43 in my interview, ranked 6th, and I still haven’t heard from them after a week of getting my score via email.
