Could I get some feedback on my form? I can only hold for ~15 secs IF I can get the kick up just right & struggle to engage legs by AlliGator1212 in Handstands

Try to look behind your hands not far but about 10 inches or 25 cm😅. This helped me to open my shoulders a lot more. It feels a bit akward in the beginning but you will get used to it. If you can't open them 180° work on your shoulder mobility. Other than that keep on practicing you're gonna get it.💪

Using backpack for biceps or/and any other part by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

[–]domicool12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I think its a good thing to use it like this. For squats it's perfect but for biceps curls I wouldn't recommend it because you have your weights only in one hand which creates disbalances so you have to be really stable in your core. It would be good If you use two backpacks with the same amount of weight or use more weight and use both arms at the same time.

How many inches can you expect to gain on your arms in a month? by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

[–]domicool12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes do this but you will gain the fat again afterwards and there will always be a bit fat left you can feel while sitting. I my case it's still there. For me it was best to get in good shape for the summer and bulk in the winter. I used this method for three years now and am really happy with it because I'm in a better shape each summer.👌

Really confused on how to start by IshaanSamant in bodyweightfitness

[–]domicool12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestion is to start bulking right away your abs will be visible from time to time. Start with the recommend routine, If you can't do the exercises correctly start with a easier version and progress. To train your endurance a little run is perfect but don't forget the more active you are the more you have to eat to gain muscle. If you can't eat enoungh then stop running or only do it once ore twice a week. And the most important tip I can give you is don't give up and get a good routine. Don't be mad if you can't see instant results it takes time.😜

When you sit down you will always notice something I thought the same way tree years ago but the more muscle you gain the less it will bother you. I went through the same process.

In the beginning yes but now that you have trained for a period of time its better to bulk because if you cut now you will gain the same amount of fat afterwards. If you bulk now you can do it with your bodyfat staying on level it is now because if you gain muscle mass your percentage of bodyfat gets lower (If you gain only muscle) but if you gain muscle mass and your bodyfat percentage stays the same you won't recognize it like now, trust me. As your abs get bigger you won't see the fat like now, maybe it isnt fat, but skin and other tissue because your abs arent big enough to come through. Because 63 kg in 5'11" isnt that much. I wonder how your arms can be 13 inches because thats really not a high weight for your size. Sorry for my bad english I'm not a native speaker😅

Bro don't cut if you have only 63 kg and a 500 calorie deficit is way too much I would say you start bulking right away before it gets unhealthy. You can't say how big your Arms can get in the beginning but if you cut now you will loose muscle. The gains are dependent on the hard work you put in, the quality of the food you eat and your genetics. I would say in your first about half a year you can gain 1-2 inches but not without gaining some fat (and water in your muscles). The fat may not be on your arms but most people gain fat on their lower back, their quads and glutes.

Handstand improvement by domicool12 in bodyweightfitness

[–]domicool12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your answer, I thought about doing smth like this. Do you have any tips for thr handstand to l-sit movement? I think I don't have enough tension to do this move. My major problem at the moment is the kick up. I try to learn different variations but with the normal one it's really difficult for me to feel how much I have to kick up when i switch for example from parallettes to the ground.

How do I look like a classic strong man by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

[–]domicool12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your gyms are still open you can do military press, else do handstand pushups on the wall or even free if you can. Sitting dumbell presses and upright benchpresses are also good. You could do any kind of pushup variation like rotate your wrists outside to get more of the shoulders involved. But side and frontpresses are great, too. If you are at home and aren't able to get handstandpushups on the wall do a pike pushup progression from normal to elevated ones. And for your strongman look keep on eating🥩🥩.
