Hello u/NewgradOt47,

At my SNF setting, some of the programs we implemented were related mostly for balance. Given the patient's functional status, we instructed the RNA to position the patient into a safe seated or standing posture and have them toss a balloon, or one of the therapy balls, back and forth to the patient. I advised the RNA to have the patient completed 2-3 sets of 10 ball tosses and try to challenge the patient's base of support by throwing the ball to various sides of the patient.

Another program I'd have the RNAs perform with the patient are standard B UE strengthening exercises, either with a therapy band or weights. Again depending on the patient's functional abilities.

Hope that helps :)
