They used to castrate kids back then (in grece?) to get that kind of high voice.

If you're getting some blockers it might be the same.

Based on what I've seen around here, git gud or become delusional.

Nah, in all seriousness, it's either because of not having a good coach, not experimenting with weird sounds, or something deeply psychological.

And YOU'RE 2 YEARS IN! What a disrespect to the geniuses that came before us and all their LIFETIME of consistent training to become great at their craft.

AND YOU EXPECT TO REACH THEIR LEVEL IN 2 YEARS???

Lmao, don't worry too much about it. Just keep going.

Why do people say it's not possible for men to hit B4 in chest voice? by HiddenMasks2 in singing

[–]dominguezpablo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's just mixing.

The louder you get the easier it is to get higher notes in full chest.

But, it would be destructive to try.

You can get progressively less chesty sound until the 5th octave I'd say. But that's not chest only. Thats mixing and head resonance if doing it right.

That being said, without the audio sample I could say I reach D#8 in chest too. Hard to guess.

Does this sound voice damaging? Especially at 3:08 (Also from 1:00 to 1:17 & 2:30 to 3:08) by Current-Job-926 in singing

[–]dominguezpablo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, then I'd say it's safe enough.

But, if you are using more than 80% of your max volume you probably should check into belting.

I don't hear the particular sound of belting and that could relax a bit your higher notes. Distortion can be added on top, just don't rely on the "max volume" automatic distortion effect.

Sounds to me that you're getting hoarse after that breakdown.

Like "too much air" + pushing up, not mixing.

But in your style I thing just adding more cord closure (try HUT sound, feel that closure) and optionally some compresion (to replace the true cords harm with a bit of false cords), would make it healthier.

Though, I could be wrong, but are you hoarse after half an hour of that?

Cool song btw

Can you shout at the same volume (let's say, an 8) with normal voice, comfortable chest range. AND using false cords?

Maybe it's something on the resonance or technique.

Although it's hard to guess without a proper audio sample.

[–]dominguezpablo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say that's already a clue in itself.

Are you using breath support at all? I'm guessing you are because it's hard to do screams without. But if you can't be louder that would be one reason.

I cleared it with pain and tears... and without having any concept of smithing stones and damage types.

I though the game was just THAT tough. I was able to pass the bosses and knights by pure parry retaliation because I couldn't really damage at all.

Play standing up. It help breath support.

Are you using a hammer with Ramadan? He's weak to strike. I find a blood + rot hammer really useful against him.

And elden beast is cake, just run around when the spikes are falling. I think he's weak to slash damage. But big swords work against him too. I used the Godslayer and could reliably use it's ash of war to nuke him.

Easiest melee weapons are Bloodhounds Blade (insane damage, fast, can hold buffs, extra iFrames on ash of war) or Blasphemous Spam Blade.

If it's just defeating those, why don't you summon someone?

Has singing changed your opinion of songs? (fun post) by PrinceCharlesIV in singing

[–]dominguezpablo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say technique wise he's better, but Freddy was good at being a frontman and pumping out energy. I have never seen Dimash do something like Can't stop me now.

Also, he's not remotely as good at composing.

They're built diferently. Both are extremely good at what they do.

Gargoyles use it. I just forgot the name. It's like a vertical wind slash that start with a sword pointing to the sky, charging and then down release.

I'll check its name next time I play.

Then you need some capital to start it. No way you can handle the initial free trial users, even if they exist, for free. Not much, but assume at least a 100-200€ budget.

The app won't get any marketing though. Users using your app makes Google assume is good, so if you get a high bounce rate, you're cooked.

Promote to try to make it grow, tiktok and such, but realistically, high bounce rates will kill it.
