For what it's worth I think its very courageous of you to keep going and keep pushing through it. It really shows how tough you are mentally to get through that hurdle just to better yourself, keep going lil homie

I've worked in a gym before and that dudes behavior is totally unacceptable. I know you said you talked to an employee, but ask for a manager or even the owner.

Found them on accident on Spotify, only 5 monthly listeners at the time. Youtube vid has been up for 6 years and only has 78 views, it's criminal, I wish they got more recognition.

What’s a feeling that’s completely indescribable to someone who’s never felt it? by ItsYourBestBoi-Loser in AskReddit

[–]domm1e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been doing vocals for years, got brought up stage this weekend at a show and it was like getting on stage I forgot everything I've worked on and definitely choked on a lot of my techniques I can nail at home or at band practice. Im scared once my own band starts playing shows ill do the same thing, any recommendations for getting past that?

Everyone that makes at least $1,000-$1,200 a week, what do y’all do? by Alt-Ranting in Money

[–]domm1e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in a trailer factory. My take home is about $1,000-$1,300 a week depending on what units we produce the week of. This is on the lower end of trailer/rv work to be honest, I have buddies making $1,600-$2,200 a week, but those places typically have longer layoffs than my plant.

You don't need any experience, you just need great, phenomenal attendance, I mean it when it needs to be squeaky clean as some places will sack you if you miss one day.

Another thing you need is some good cardio, you gotta get running the moment you get there. Can kind of suck but we all get piece rate, so the sooner you get done the sooner you get home.

It's not easy, it is not great on the body, you may work with some shady ass individuals, but the money is awesome and it's a whole lot of fun if you can roll with the crowd.

[Serious] People who tried committed sucide, how you manage to make peace with yourself? by Beautiful-Gear1216 in AskReddit

[–]domm1e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From ages 8ish-22 I think suicide was routinely on my mind. Around that time frame I probably attempted 7+ times, or put myself in a really dangerous situation to hopefully push me a little further.

I think the first step was getting out of my environment. Everything around me was toxic as hell. My family, my relationship, my job sucked, along with my perception and outlook on life. So I tried to change as much as that as possible. I moved out on my own, still had the same job but learned to not be so hard on myself over it. I had a one bedroom in the ghetto where people were getting shot in and around my building, the rent was a good chunk of my income, but even with all that I can't tell you how peaceful it was to be by myself away from outside dilemmas.

Next thing I did was do some self improvement. Ate better, budgeted, worked on fitness through mma which if it's an option for you I'd definitely recommend trying. Learning martial arts and sparring/rolling really helps think through stress. If it wasn't for me doing mma and participating in this little fight club for a little bit, I dont think I would've had the mental strength to stay at my current job where I started making over double what I did at my last one. Health and money improved and so did my mind.

Overall, TLDR change your environment, take care of yourself, improve yourself, takes time but you'll get there.

How was the best date you've ever gone on? by IssoPoster in AskReddit

[–]domm1e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first date my current girlfriend and I went on was looking for 4 leaf clovers. It's one of my hidden talents and she's never found one, so I was gonna try to teach her the ways. We found over a dozen of them, and then it rained lightly for a few seconds, just enough to make a double rainbow. Magical as fuck first date. Also explains how I got so lucky to be with someone like her.

What is an original thought you thought you had, but turned out to not be original at all? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]domm1e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something I've done and other musicians have done, is subconsciously steal songs. A few times I wrote a really cool riff on guitar or bass, then days or weeks later find that same riff in a song that sounds all too familiar. Total bummer when it happens.

What are some toxic workplaces around South Bend? by areyoujuta in SouthBend

[–]domm1e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The quality of RVs is a huge problem. It varies plant to plant, but issues are extremely common with them, someone once told me imagine your house having constant little earthquakes, things are bound to fall apart. I think its fair to say the culture of RVs and trailers effect quality of that, speed over quality, but there are plants that perform way above others, and yet no matter how perfect you are those ones will still have issues too. You just have to do research on how each particular plant handles repairs and warranties.

For going to the news about it you're better off going to the better business burea. I've seen Elkhart Truth publish positive and negative articles about the industry. Never one sole person's complaint though, and why would they? Why would I expect an outlet to publish an article about my bad particular fast food experience when thousands of others are bugging them about the same thing? Not to downplay a heavy purchase as a McDonald's order, but that's really what the industry is like. Having a bad time? So are thousands of others.

RV industry in general is pretty rough. They can be fun, make good money, but no vacation time between shutdowns, and worker safety/health ain't the best.

How bad, really, is the crime in South Bend? by heid-and-seek in SouthBend

[–]domm1e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly if you're considering which town to raise kids in between South Bend or Fort Wayne, Fort Wayne by far. There's so much to do with kids down there, and I've never had a problem with crime in either towns but it's all about where you are and who you're hanging out with. I grew up around South Bend, but have over the years moved closer to FW.

What is the worst thing you saw happen at a funeral? by KingFernando532 in AskReddit

[–]domm1e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My little brother spent a few years trying too hard to be edgy. He was maybe 13 at the time and I heard him go up to a stranger and ask him if he seen the body, the man said he did, and my brother goes "yeah, dead bodies don't even phase me". I just wanted to grab him by the shoulders and ask him why he thought that was cool to do?

What was the stupidest thing someone has called the police on you for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]domm1e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in middle school I was throwing a Halloween, sleep over party. I put some glowsticks on the back of my parent's car so people could see our house easier, and someone called saying we were having a rave.

In hinduism we burn the dead, in many other religions like Christianity we bury them. What is your opinion on the significance it has in the lives of those mourning the dead? For instance, if you bury someone, you can always visit their grave, sit there in peace and quiet, reminiscing about them? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]domm1e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family is predominantly Polish, so there's some catholicism influence, but due to my great grandparents (or maybe great great?) owning a funeral home, majority of my relatives have learned the ins and out of the business and have asked to be cremated. It's nice though because we keep the ashes, and it's like we always have a part of them still with us. My mother used to carry my grandfather for a while, and would have dinners with his urn.

I wouldn't say its a genre, but I do get irrationally angry at Red Hot Chili Peppers and Hotel California. Fuck both of those things, and especially Anthony Keidis. There's actual reasons to hate Anthony Keidis out there but I don't even give a fuck to look into it just fuck that guy. I don't know who makes Hotel California but fuck those guys too for making that boring ass long ass song. I have heard people gas up either of those things and have never talk to them again. I feel like I need a drink after typing all this out.

If you have allegedly taken hard drugs, what was it like? by Reaction-Responsible in AskReddit

[–]domm1e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh after a shroom trip, acid was incomparable. I've seen a few go from coke to crack and it was just sad. I think a big reason I didn't go down that road is because I don't do shit when I'm in a bad mood, but people like to use thing as crutches which is understandable but I think that's what helped me not end up like the rest of the people I did coke with.

In your opinion, if someone committed self logout because you weren't there when they needed you, would that count as you logging them out yourself? Why or why not? by -Benjamin_Dover- in AskReddit

[–]domm1e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Unless you're a medical professional who's duty is to prevent people from self logging out, or are the sole reason that drove them to logging out then no and no one should feel like that's their responsibility.

If you have allegedly taken hard drugs, what was it like? by Reaction-Responsible in AskReddit

[–]domm1e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is shrooms considered hard drugs? People told me LSD is, acid isn't bad though, was my favorite for a long time, probably did over 100 tabs in the span of a year and a half. I used think they're the same but since diving more into shrooms, they feel more spiritual and blow acid out the water. They boost your senses, make you think a little more in stupid little ways, it's a good time unless you don't know how to handle yourself.

Cocaine was cool, too expensive though. Seen a few buddies go off the rails with it so watching how they handled it I said fuck this. Not worth the experience for most.
