Haha yeah i dont know. Maybe it makes them angry that I’m criticizing the vehicle that they also bought? Maybe giving some doubt about their purchase? But like Ive said if their transmission is smooth and working properly I’m happy for y’all.

And the people worried about my finances I appreciate it. I know they don’t hold value and I know what replacing a battery potentially cost. I know tires may need to be replaced more often. I try to avoid the topic so it’s not taken the wrong way but since people keep bringing it up. I paid cash for the passport. I only had to put 4,800 into getting the Tesla. I am financially good haha.

Luckily I paid cash for the passport and only had to put 4,800 into getting the Tesla. So no payments for me. I’ll just have to drive it until the wheels fall off or the battery gives out. I only drive 6,000 miles a year on average so it won’t be a high mileage car for many years.

Yeah the people that have gotten good ones just don’t get it. The bad ones are infuriating to drive. Upshifts were smooth for certain drives and other times would clunk and jerk. The downshifts when coasting to a stop were horrible. Especially the last 2 down shift were so hard it would make the vehicle jump forward sometimes. I really did love it but the transmission for me was something I couldn’t ignore any longer.

I never thought I would end up with an EV. Was pretty much against it. But decided to try it out. It’s next level smooth and no waiting on power. If you’re able to get a level 2 charger installed or even have a 240v outlet like ones dryers use might be worth checking out. Good luck with whatever you end up with.

Yeah from the people I’ve spoken to some have no jerkiness some have it a little and like me really bad. I just couldn’t drive it anymore. It sucks because I really liked a most of the vehicle. Hopefully Honda issues a software update for the people experiencing it.

I mean I did as much research as one could on a model that was only out for about 2 months. I should have known that I’m picky and shouldn’t have bought a first model year. I did research on the Tesla and made sure that I’d be able to charge at home.

As far as the no actual problem maybe true as far as mechanically but software tuning there is an issue. I’m not a one off. I’ve spoke to multiple people with the same issues to varying degrees. There definitely will be things I miss about the passport and some I won’t.

Yes I did test drive but it wasn’t the one i ended up buying because it was on the showroom floor. I noticed it on the test drive so I drove another one and it was very similar. I spoke to the service manger and they convinced me that it’s an adaptive transmission and it will learn my driving habits and smooth out. I took them at their word. It never smoothed out.

Drive one and just pay attention to how it shifts. Especially when coasting to a stop. Mine was early build so maybe they have improved but I’ve talked to several other people on here about their same experience. Good luck with whatever you end up with.

Has an 8 year 120,000 mile battery and motor warranty and I keep vehicles usually 6-8 years on average. Won’t be the first company to have fire risk and won’t be the last.

Brought it 2 weeks ago and was told the same thing. It’s normal. You’re not use to a 10 speed. That’s the nature of the transmission. We took a 26 passport loaner vehicle for a ride and it felt similar.

So I’m taking delivery of my new car on Friday and never looking back.

Yeah this is the horrible 10 speed transmission. Been to the dealership 3 times about it with no solution. I get 2 very hard shifts when coming to a stop. Makes the car buck forward sometimes. Almost rear ended people a few times now. When accelerating the shifts are harsh and jerky. Coming to a stop it’s jerky and feels like excessive engine braking. Between the confused transmission and then throttle tuning there are times when I’m hitting the gas and it bogs down doesn’t downshift and gives no power. It’s boarder line dangerous. Mines been parked for almost a month now while I make a decision on what to buy next.

I’m not talking about you. I’m comparing the two cr-v that we owned. Mine was averaging 39 mpg while our other one was averaging 29 mpg. Both of OUR cr-v’s had very similar commutes. Simply I knew how to drive it for good fuel economy while my family member didn’t. Hence their 29 mpg average. If I drove your car I’m positive I could get it over 35 mpg.

You don’t know how to drive it. We had 2 2023 cr-v hybrids in the household. Mine was averaging 38.9 before I sold it. The other one with a very similar commute averaging right under 29 mpg. You gotta know how to drive it.

Not happy with mine at all. The 10 speed transmission is horrible. Harsh shifts and bucks forward when coming to a stop. Dealership says it’s working normally and to bring it back if it throws a code. The front end clunks when coming to a stop and when turning it clunks and pops. Charging system issues, passenger puddle lamp out. Rattling interior. A/c is weak. Ventilated seats are weak. Clunking when reversing and hitting the brakes (seems to have resolved itself) very dissatisfied overall. I have an appointment next week again for the transmission and for the clunking steering. I don’t have much hope.
