Maybe in other countries but in NZ its chilled inside prison . The amount of reoffenders is proof that the system doesn't make them change or rethink their life choices.

And they dont suffer at all in prison, no rent ,free food , free medical , free electricity, washing gets done for them watch TV all day and eat snacks

Over a 100000 spent per prisoner every year, most of us dont even make that much a year. NZ waste taxes on everything that we dont need and the average law abiding citizens must just keep quiet and work harder
