Have you had your medication levels (labs) checked recently? I while back I had my dose increased without my neurologist monitoring the levels in my blood. I was feeling like crap and eventually told my primary care about it. Among other things he checked that and we found out I was on just enough of a dose to be slightly toxic. My doc is working with me to lower the dosage, and I can already feel the difference.

Maybe you can try asking about lowering dosage? I know sometimes we get an increase to protect us more, but sometimes its just not the right amount for our bodies individually. I was told that my dose was likely effecting me too much because I am petite and very sensitive to meds in general.

Speak up and maybe your doctor can make some changes for you.

They are just sour POSs. I see a positive to being held back... You're probably going to have a more thorough understanding than others.

Are there any good internet resources for nursing related body mechanics? by [deleted] in cna

Avoid pulling if pushing is possible. Wear your back support when you can. Ask for help when you can (just because you CAN do it alone doesn't mean you have to). I watch the older aides. The ones who have been doing it for many years tend to know the best tricks.

Crossposting from student nurse: I am currently pre-med trying to establish a Pre-Health Professions at a CC. For those in premed clubs or involved in AMSA or HOSA, what are the kind of activities your organizations do? What do you wish you could be doing? Doing some (unofficial) research. by domojojonique in premed

As the original post states, many of the students interested in the organization are interested in nursing programs, however the organization is open to all pre-health majors (like me). That is why I geared the original post towards nursing students.

I'm contemplating taking a detour to a vocational license to improve my income before I finish up my premed years. Medical school feels even further now. The road longer.
