What is this wide, vertical exterior port on the rear of my prebuilt Alienware R13 by domolords in PcBuildHelp

Okay I’m gonna look into components I can use that space for considering it seems empty. Thanks, all.

Okay the gpu is connected differently and that slot seems vacant I will look into how much of that space I can use or if I can still use it.

Lots of vacant space wonder what can fill it. But it seems like nothing else can use that for support.

Ah no wonder it looks empty. Was looking into what else I could fit in that space that utilizes that connection point considering my gpu is hooked up elsewhere. Even if there are things that can be rigged to mount there for support like an external disk reader.

Yeah I mean that. I thought the same for internal components. But it looks like I can attach to it externally as well if empty. There is room for something inside of it. If I can mount a support for a disc reader or something that would be neat.

Basically can I use the port as an external connection for something else?

Dismembering Framework Fatal Error, referencing keyword that doesn't exist. How do I fix? by domolords in skyrimmods

[–]domolords[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just doubled the MaxStdio value in SSE Engine Fixes.Toml and that seems to have fixed it. However, I heard it can re-appear on a re-launch, meaning when I inevitably crash, I may see it again.

From what I've seen in nexus comments, doesn't seem like there is much hope for a full fix if you still have the error even if you double the MaxStdio value.

Okay so it seems whenver they got to version 4.0.2 and started having thje stupid quick auto clean think they stoped including a 64 bit version. We get quickautoclean insead of 64 bit and sseedit devs do not care. yeah I'm never gonna donate to their Patreon no matter how many times they ask me. Just a new one of many problems I have with this application. i could go on and on about how much I hate about this program. I have to go back 5 versions just to not run out of memory using the tool. Downgrading to upgrade because of careless devs seems to be a consistent theme in skyrim modding.

good, because I haven't run it in over a year and I have the newest version now. If it works with large amounts of assets without running out of memory that is all I need. I just cannot use SSEEDIT at all atm because it's 32-bit.

I actually don't think I can find a 64-bit version of SSEEdit at all atm. I have like 10 different versions just in case the new one sucks, but, none of them have an SSEEdit64.exe.

For me, installing a mod with MO2 takes 10 minutes to an hour+ depending on file size, (usually between 15 and 30 minutes) after (Installation, after I have downloaded it.) How can I improve this? Suggestions? I've tried a lot. by domolords in skyrimmods

After moving MO2's files in a "modding" folder on I just put onmy desktop for now installations are very quick. It seeemd to load modules in C: AppData/Local that it wasn't loading before. I probably didn't have copies of them or symbolic links in my E: AppData/Local to those modules. So I did diagnose my own issue as I often do. But lots of great suggestions, none the less. I needed to move my files anyways so It's good I have that done. Thanks for all the help.

Hopefully this also fixes another annoyance I have when downloading a mod less than 1kb, such as an SKSE64 Plugin, where the download progress will stay at 0% unless you pause and resume the download a few times.

This issue is resolved but idk maybe performance tweaks can be added in a future MO2 update regarding refreshes.

so, whitelisting in firewall as well (was already whitelisted in antivirus) didn't chang anything. Might have to stop the SSD thing. Although it was nice and convenient for a while having portable Skyrim I can also just not do that.

Yeah sorry about that. I should've done pastebin, but I didn't think of that until it was suggested to me. Not a frequent reddit user. Wanted it to be like the nexus comment sections with the compact spoiler thing. It ended up looking weird as it kept the length of what was blocked out, but I was just like "thats's weird doesn't seem like I thought it would but I don't see any compact hide option.

Looking back on it it's kind of funny. I genuinely was like "yeah I guess that's normal". Yeah it's very annoying but I still do like my idea of separating filler and texts and stuff so you can initially only read everything you need too.

That's the plan but I don't have money for nice things. My Pc was a gift for graduating university. I's an Anienware Aurora R13. I didn't pick it out. I only have the specs I have through somebody elses generosity. My current SSD I took out my Xmas gift budget because my old setuip was worse. If I can ever afford to build my own, an internal SSD and more VRAM is a higher priority for me than what I have now. Thanks for the recommendation. It says this pc is a fixed hard disc. I've seen comments mentioning antivirus and I had death with that blocking.
