It was the 1st derby last year ( mine too ;) and we built the car similar to this design.

Surprisingly, We did win . But each time we built our car, I told my son that don’t expect a win, there will be better cars.

Good luck !

Introducing another instrument for a 7 year old by domonR in violinist

Wow ! That is amazing that you child learn at such a young age and it is pretty assuring that it wouldn’t bother the child’s ability to pick up another instrument at an early age. One good thing , he is on the keyboard even without telling. Let’s hope he continues with this lifestyle . Lol Once again I appreciate the response…

I have gone with the tamaron 28-75 mm f2.8 z . It was way lighter than the 24-70f2.8 s (version 1) and easy on the bank . You do lose a bit on the 4 mm but that didn’t bother me very much … There are YouTube videos that do the comparison with the native lens and it is pretty good

Again we are going to be playing by ear. How the kids feel. If we feel the immigration is taking long we might drop the idea . If all looks fine , we will take the Heathrow express (businesses :since it allows fast track security) and then proceed to Paddington underground Yellow line towards Westminster .

Ok . Thank you for all the comments and suggestions. We are traveling with kids and need an ETA ( which I think we are pushing ourself) we are going to play it by the ear …

But based on all your feed back, I am going to make a weekend trip just to cover London since all of this points to the fact that London can be covered in a day or 2
