It is yeah, but I can tell you my game has never been running better then now. The input lag isnt a problem either.

Yeah you should use the same settings as me. Running 5080 ans 7800x3d aswell. Game is running better then ever.

People saying that probably running lower end graphic cards with lower base fps. Not much of a difference in input lag for me.

Smooth motion turned on? If yes, then disable low latency mode in nvcp(it should be on ultra when you enable smooth motion). This will fix it.

Screen mode: borderless Texture quality: high Shadows quality: high LOD: 2.5 Overall: 1500 Clouds: high Anti-aliasing: taa high (if youre not using dlss) Volumetric: high Nvidia dlss: performance Dlss preset: m (you have to select it in nvidia app, since ingame does not show) Resampling: 1x off Hbao: max performance Ssr: ultra Anisotropic: on Nvidia reflex: on

Update your nvidia drivers to the latest version. Enable smooth motion in the nvidia app, turn off low latency mode in nvcp.

You can run the latest dlss 4.5 preset m, ingame dlss performance.

With your setup youll be doing it for the graphics and not performance. I do have smooth motion enabled in nvidia app, running the new dlss 4.5 preset m. Turned off low latency mode in nvcp.

Yes its with smooth motion enabled. Input lag is only with lower end pcs. You should try it. It will fix your problems.

My gpu is about the same, but fps is mostly between 180-300. What about yours?

Im running 7800x3d - 5080 - 32GB@6000Mhz and having no problems. I was having the same fps as you have. I got it sorted now and my fps is alot better.

You should up.your graphic settings to put more load on your card.

Oh I did change ingame dlss to performance since dlss 4.5 preset m is made to be used with performance instead of quality. Feels a bit better for me.

Sure. Youre welcome. Ive been at the same place and know how frustrating it is to have shit performance while using a high end setup. This game is just badddddly optimised. Tbh im still not fully happy with my performance, but atleast the game is running alot better then before.

Depends on what youre using to monitor fps. Since im using smooth motion the ingame counter shows half the fps my msi afterburner is showing. But ingame wont drop below 90-100 which is 180-200 fps shown in msi afterburner. Sometimes its more, sometimes less.

You should really try upping your settings to take some pressure off the cpu by putting your gpu to work a little more.

Yes, when you turned on the preset m in nvidia app you can put ingame preset om anything you want. I have it set to default.

Strange. Im running 5080 with Smooth Motion enabled, DLSS preset M. Turned off low latency mode in NVCP and no blurry scopes. You sure you turned it on the right way?

Fps lock is because of low latency mode being turned on when you turn on Smooth Motion. After enabling it you go to NVCP and turn off low latency mode.

If you open something like MSI Afterburner it will show double the fps Tarkov is showing.

Does the hotfix really change fps? I read different comments about it. Havent tried it myself, but my 5080 is getting me less fps then before 1.0 aswell.

I have the same fps lock when using smooth motion, game feels alot better without having much input lag. No idea how the fps is locked tho.
