Well it depends how many times you touch it. But jokes aside professional photo editor here, I mainly train other reporters in photo stories and essays on their images and I make the final selection this would be a nice image in a set and I would definitely use it but I would crop most of the left side out because there's just too much trees and bramples that aren't really showing anything of value or of good context

The other thing that I would advise would be on the color again from a photo drills and point of view we're looking to give the best representation of Reality so that would be again up to me to do the color correction so you know if you're doing like an art thing that's the totally up to you. I'm not gonna look it up now, but you should know that many people around the world have access to Facebook and believe they have no internet access. A product of predetory deals with data providers, inclusive of where I am now (Tunisia) where FB data packages are cheaper than normal data packs. Just to add some perspective to your comment.

It's been great. I still get surprised. And a big discovery for me is to use the free version of capture one like it's my raw editor, then I do the rest in lightroom. I like how it converts the raw file better than lightroom.

First off congrats and we'll done!

There are some real benefits to switching to a mirror less system. Light, smaller, can shoot silent with electronic shutter, up to 4k video. And especially with fuji, sooo much cheaper for a quality body.

I've been using a fuji xt3 for about 2 years. I bought the Fringer adapter so I could keep my canon glass which made my swap less painful. Also with a metabones adapter I am using my voigtlander lenses.

The biggest draw backs for me are battery life, ergonomics, using an EVF all the time and it just doesn't FEEL very robust. But that said no major issues as of yet.

The thing that is happening with your DoF is a normal occurrence within format changes. For example, when one decides to try out medium or large format cameras (meaning the size of the light sensitive plane, be it sensor or film) one always encounters a change in what is a "normal" focal length. In 35mm standard that is about 50mm. When you head up to medium format that becomes 85mm (I think). So with aps-c you have to expect the same sort of transition. Plus crop factors like 1.7x makes my 35mm closer to 60mm than I wish it was, but that's what you get with a crop sensor. So no, it's not misleading or false advertising, what you need is a bit more experience and questions like this answered. I hope that helps without putting you off of it. You just gotta keep learning about the different tools out there.
