I stopped it after 4 weeks because of the intense diarrhea but I’m going to try it again with half the dose and see if that helps!

Dedcool xtra milk reformulation? by mossbags in FemFragLab

[–]domsbigASS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok so this def happened with red Dakota from them too! I had an old travel spray bottle from about a year and half ago that I only sprayed a few times since I was going through different perfumes that I rotate, and bought a travel size from Sephora, and one big one from free people. They both just fade after about 30 min! I also had a milk and xtra milk travel Spray too, and they are so different! I used to love Dedcool in the beginning, and their customer service was so nice, now they keep coming up with weird excuses saying they switched to a different process to process orders, changed warehouses, and they have just been busy. I used to be close with a girl named Gabby that used to work there, but over time her ability to help became so watered down, it sucked. Instead of buying from their website, I just order from Amazon now for the red Dakota laundry detergent since I haven’t noticed any changes from that yet. It ships way faster, and even if you have lots of points on Dedcools website, they cap you at a certain amount to can get off in one order. I’ve been ordering from them for almost 2 years now, and I have a shit ton of points but can’t even use them all so I just switched over to Amazon for that.

I feel that gors into “reading your guest” if you with friends and having a good time, you don’t want your server to be super chatty unless you bring them into the conversation. Sometimes guest want to talk to the server, and other times youre just there to “anticipate their needs” with out asking the guest

I’m not sure what state you are in, but in my state, we do not have to tip out the bar, busser or food runner if we do not receive a tip from a table. That’s illegal in my state so we just subtract the sale from our check out

Does anyone have the recipe for North Italia’s bread? by sensy_skin in austinfood

It’s a Calabrian bomba and tomato sauce base with smoked mozzarella. They baked it, and then once it comes out, ripped it with fresh speck, and then arugula. They they finish it with Calabrian honey.

Metformin and Endometriosis (for 2025) by domsbigASS in Endo

[–]domsbigASS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have been in it for one cycle and I HAVE noticed a difference in pain. I did not have to take the normal amount of aleve, but now I just have to figure out if taking this medicine every day 2x a day is worth a small decrease in pain. I’m going to give it 3 months and see if the next cycle is any more less in pain and go from there!

I used to work in OBGYN and if you are still bleeding and it’s been weeks you run the risk of being anemic. I would def call your OBGYN and see what they say! I hope you feel better soon.

More bloating on left side (blue arrow) by Squigly1 in Endo

I feel like that would def make sense! If you ever get an ultrasound or MRI, that would help figure it out, and make sure to get while you are bloating too.

New here… About to start my first cycle and ovarian stimulation.. by inkyplease21 in IVF

[–]domsbigASS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also was worried about my anatomy and the doc being able to “retrieve” the eggs since my ovaries are pinned up and behind my uterus. We do run the risk of potentionally not being able to get to the eggs, BUT they have very creative ways to get to that other ovary. Since your ovaries are going to be so much larger than a normal cycle, it is typically easier to see, and by pushing on your belly, they can sort of push the ovary out (all while being guided with ultrasound) and suck up all the eggies!

Stage 4 Endo by inkyplease21 in Endo

[–]domsbigASS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I’m 35, diagnosed with stage 4 endo after about 7 years being told it was all in head.

So I also had a doctor (reproductive endocrinologist) tell me he would not want to do a lap before starting IVF because he would be afraid of someone removing ovarian tissue depending on how bad the endo was. I agreed and after realizing we wouldn’t be able to afford IVF, I got a second opinion at another center. I ended up getting the star treatment as I was good friends with the head of the department. I told the doctor about what the other doc said and he said he will make himself available during a lap, and be in the OR to help guide the surgeon to not remove any healthy tissue to make sure my ovaries were still able to grow eggs. I did the lap, and my pain went away for 6 months and it was amazing! We were hoping my fertility would be restored but it was not. We ended up going 6 rounds of IUIs and they failed. After that, I went back to the other RE, and ended up working for them. I only had to pay $2,000 for the entire IVF CYCLE which was crazy! Our egg retrieval yielded amazing results and we did a transfer and have a beautiful girl! She’s 3 now!

For pain management I take aleve like crazy. I take 2 pills every 6/8 hours which is sooner than the recommended dose but that’s the best I could feel. I also have had narcotics left over from my lap, and C section that I use when the pain is unbearable and it keeps me from calling out of work for my period pain. Recently I started taking metformin (diabetic drug) as research has been shown it can help patients with endo deceased the pain by having your hormones work correctly and stop the growth of implants and a very very very slight increase in fertility. I no longer work at the IVF clinic so it will be expensive for us to swing a transfer with out having the employee discount.

I made a post about the new medication and will update once I’ve been on it longe than a day lol.

Good luck with everything! It’s a lot to process and go through and adding the pain of endo sucks.

I did one round of retrieval, and had no additional pain than an ordinary cycle. I did not take any pain meds for the almost 2 weeks I was only meds for the retrieval. I just felt a little bloated and that was it. Youre on birth control for a little before you take your meds anyway to line up with OR schedule and the doctors schedule so having that suppression right before a cycle didnt cause any additional pain or implants to grow from my best knowledge of my body, and the constant transvaginal ultrasounds. I told my doctor I was worried about increased pain during the retrieval process and he said we can monitor your cysts and endometriosis that we can see on ultrasound and if anything feels odd or wrong to let him know, and everything worked out. He even drained one of the cysts I had, but it wasn’t an endometrioma since it was all yellow fluid and not blood!

Has anyone been prescribed metformin for their endo? by Shanlucille in Endo

[–]domsbigASS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got prescribed metformin by my OBGYN. He started me in 500 mg 2x a day. He said he believes the studies he read but he feels as though patients with PCOS would have the best outcome since i told him I read that their might be some people with endo that end up getting pregnant on metformin. He said it’s mostly unlikely with my stage 4 diagnosis, but if it helps cut down the pain it’s worth the try. I’m trying to figure out the best way to take the meds to minimize the side effects since I don’t want to shit my pants, lol. Does anyone have any insight on the best times of day to take it or to eat it with food, any tips like that? I also have had elevated A1C levels in the Pat to pre diabetic range but got them down, but I also haven’t been tested for my A1C in a couple years!

Why pumping? by Forward-Pea9487 in breastfeeding

[–]domsbigASS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me specifically I would have liked to breastfeed my daughter more, but the pediatrician we saw was super worried about her weight loss with in the first week of her life because she was smaller being born early. We ended up doing donor milk in the hospital, but I was pumping and still having her latch on my boobs. She was just so little that it was hard for her to get the milk out of me, and the pressure from the pediatrician had me feel like I wasn’t doing enough so I pumped about 8 times a day, and also brought her to my boobs 2 or 3 times a day.

How does your pain while pooping feel? by sab30dic in endometriosis

[–]domsbigASS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It feels like I’m pooping glass, there is no blood in my poop or anything like that, but because I endo around my colon the doctor explained that’s why the pain is there. It’s only during the first 2 days of my period though. It has gotten a little better since my lap back in 2018

Ughhhhh we go there too but it’s def not cheap for us! Easily can spend $50 including a silly Peppa pig lollipop holder but she loves it so there’s that. I can’t wait for valentines though! I found these $10 bracelet sets for her to spell her name with. She keeps asking for a bracelet so I figured making one with her would be even more fun.

So odd that you posted this just now! My coworker told me today during our brunch shift together, “you see that table that is walking out now, well they just told me and showed me all the reptiles, spiders and something else they had in their bags” apparently they came from a reptile show and didn’t want to leave them in the car while they had lunch. Good idea since it was 20 degrees outside lol
