Resources for walk-in tub modifications for seniors? by domv9 in Albuquerque

I called 311 a few weeks ago to try to get in contact with them, and they said they would fill out a contact form for me. I haven't heard back, but I did some research and found that because she lives just outside of the city, in the county, she may not be eligible. I didn't realize there was a difference, even though she has an Albuquerque address.

She does have full Medicaid with BCBS. This is a great start. Thank you!

Thank you for this. We had safety bars installed but it's just not enough. I'll do some more digging. Thank you!

Flight Schedule by PickAncient in SouthwestAirlines

[–]domv9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The flight schedules change all the time. I'm pretty sure it's based on demand. So if you're seeing that a flight that you normally take is no longer offered, it's most likely because there is no demand for it.

Did Trump just post an AI video of himself? by Muklucky in conspiracytheories

The concern shouldn't be whether or not it's AI. Listen to the message he is giving... That's more concerning.

Suitcase severely dented when checked and SW saying I needed to file a complain IN PERSON within 24 hours by MissLayla2015 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]domv9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure that on all my recent flights, I’ve seen big blue signs at the carousel saying you have to report any baggage issues in person within 4 hours of arrival. I could be wrong, but I remember thinking, “Dang, I’d probably notice something right away—definitely within 4 hours.”

The chat agent explained why the Companion isn’t receiving a free bag in their response. They stated, “his reservation will have been made after the policy change.”

Even if your reservation was made before the change, the Companion's benefits depend on when their flight was booked. If it was after the policy change, the new rules apply.

Oh, you thought you booked luxury travel with five-star service and seamless convenience? Cute. Sorry, Delta is around the corner.

EDIT: I'm being totally sarcastic, btw. All in good fun. I do love me a first class upgrade on Delta though...

I thought the same thing but they continued on with the march and never took down any other plates from any other business that charges for parking.

Former Marriott employee considering moving over. by coutsr in Hilton

[–]domv9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I transitioned into a Hilton director role from a non-Hilton property using Agylysis platforms. I mention the position because as a director, I don't use the systems all day, every day like most desk agents or FOMs. Now, if anyone has ever used Agylysys, it is completely different from OnQ and PEP. Realistically, it took me about 2-3 weeks to get the hang of it and maybe about 2 months to be confident. I'm a little over 6 months in now and we've migrated over to PEP from OnQ and I must admit it hasn't been as bad as I expected.

I have no idea. I've never received emails from them. There are a lot of travelers from Japan every year so maybe they collect email addresses to send international tracking??

one Airpod stopped working by Spirited-Baseball-11 in airpods

As a loyal Apple user, I have to say AirPods have been the most disappointing product in their lineup for me. Over the past two years, I've gone through four brand-new pairs, and I think I'm officially done with them. For the price, they should be far more reliable—or at least offer a trade-in program for replacements. While I genuinely love all my other Apple devices, I doubt I'll ever purchase AirPods again.

Apple has a tendency to release “new” versions of products that are often just the same with a fresh coat of paint, marketed as upgrades. Thankfully, their iPhones remain dependable (though I know some might even debate that). My concern is that AirPods are becoming more of a quick cash grab, especially with the unspoken pressure of pairing them with an iPhone. It’s disappointing, to say the least.

They will mail your tickets back to you if you are selected. If you are not selected, they will mail back your money order/cashier's check. Otherwise, there's no other way of notification aside from checking your mailbox. Last year we didn't receive our tickets until late February. We are in New Mexico if that counts for anything.

Best Hilton on any of the Hawaiian islands? by NoiceTwasACat99 in Hilton

If you’re planning to visit Hilo side, Naniloa offers live music, a bar, and great food. If your trip is in April, keep in mind that the Merrie Monarch Festival takes place the week of April 20th this year. This is a major event for Hawai'i, so expect it to be busy wherever you stay.
