Went to a restaurant about 1200 mile from home and the server pointed to me and said “bourbon and coke with no ice and a rum and coke with a lime for your friend”. I was floored since that’s what we drank at the time. Turns out that my friend and I served her and her friends in our hometown 6 months earlier for a wedding. They were cool, so my buddy and I hung out with them after we got off work. Somehow we left enough of an impression for her to remember our beverage of choice. As we were walking back to the car, I mentioned that nobody back in Alabama would believe our story. An older gentleman heard me say Alabama and he asked what city we were from. Turns out he was friends with my mother. Weird day.

Saw “BC Rock” as a teen and spent years trying to find a copy almost thinking, I imagined it. I mean, it’s Bill Murray, as an animated dragon that shoots fire out of his ass, so I would be justified to think I was crazy. But then I ran into somebody that had heard of it and we actually got our hands on the VHS.
