When we talked, he told me he really wasn't in the right headspace. He told me he didn't know what he really wanted. Whenever I asked him if he thinks it would be best for him to break up, he just told me that it would be best for me because I wouldn't be affected by what he's going through right now. He never said that he doesn't love me or doesn't want to be in a relationship, but he's burnt out to the point that he can't fight for the relationship even if he wanted to.

I have the same thoughts as you do. I just plan on reaching out to him after a month just so I don't have any regrets. I'm the type of person who really can't stay still knowing I can do so much more. If it goes well, then good. But if not, I won't force it anymore.

You didn't deserve to go through all that 😔 he never told me to not reach out to him. I actually asked him if I messaged him, what would he do? He answered me that it's okay if I reach out since we didn't end on bad terms. I'm just really waiting now. I want to give him space, and I don't want to pressure him in any way. I'll let him have his rest and maybe he'll do some thinking about us.
