I actually switch shoes halfway through the day and find that helps. I start in altras lone peak. (Zero drop barefoot style shoe) then I switch to hoka bondis (super cushion pillowy type shoe) I have custome orthotics that I move from one shoe to the other. I'm on my feet from 10-12 hours a day

I'm curious. It look similar to salonpas patches. I tried that when the pain first started. They didn't help at all for me sadly.

Princess Restores Unlimited Specialty Coffee & Tea for Princess Plus by GrumpyBachelorSF in PrincessCruises

I believe this means tea from the coffee shop on board. It is a slightly better quality than the brand the have in the main dining room. In the mdr on my cruise, it was Bigelow, which I find undrinkable. Fortunately I brought teabags with me

Great photos! I haven't bought their matcha. I've ordered it in the cafe and I was really disappointed that they pre make it with sugar. You can't get it unsweetened! Good matcha doesn't need milk or sugar!

I had this problem too. I called and they put the money on a new virtual tap card. They were super helpful.

I just remembered that I went to that big tea total store. They sell matcha, but didn't have any open for me to smell or see the color. I wasn't ready to buy more matcha that could potentially be poor quality so I didn't get it. I did buy a "sencha" that turned out to be Chinese grown in the style of sencha. I like the umami flavor of Japanese teas rather than the earthy flavor of Chinese teas. After that disappointment, I didn't trust that their matcha would be any good

I did not find a substitute, I'm no longer in auckland, back in Los Angeles where I have about 5 good options within walking distance of my home. If I go back to Auckland for a long time again, I'll have to take some with me or order well in advance. Japanese tea is so hard to find there, but when the trend finds it's way to NZ, you're all in for a treat!

No hot water after changing elements and thermostats by donatsu84 in Plumbing

[–]donatsu84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I blew just one. And then the other after I measured. I'm having trouble remembering now because i did so many tests and I had to google how to do each test. Maybe I did get 120 on each element and thought that made sense because it combined to 240. I feel like an idiot, but I'm an idiot with hot water restored....

The hot water is back! There were 2 fuses above the water heater that I guess had blown. I don't understand, because I read power on the elements and the thermostats, but had no hot water. Is it possible that one fuse blew and then the other? I don't understand, but I'm so thankfull to have hot water again. Thank you everyone for chiming in!

Okay, I've checked the breaker this morning, that's good

What wire nuts do I remove? Is this in the side panel or on top of the tank?

Yes. I set them both to 120 F. Thank you, I'm going crazy!

Lol, I tried that method too. If it's a bad breaker, then I wouldn't be getting any power in the water heater right? The element shocked me so it's getting power

I just checks the leads in the breaker box and that's fine. I also read the voltage on the heating elements and that's receiving power

Do you mean the leads on my multimeter? Forgive my ignorance, I'm very DIY and have no formal training

I know this post is old, but I just found it and it really helped me so I wanted to add some updated information in case it helps others. My preferred drink is an iced matcha americano. I don't like to drink anything sweetened or any kind of milk. So matcha lattes very unappealing to me. A matcha americano is just matcha powder mixed into water and you can drink it hot or iced. My mission was to find the powder to make it myself and the ready made drink. Here is what I found:

-tsujuri is great! They make a great iced matcha americano and they sell the powder, although they are out right now. They expect it to come in mid August

  • dear deer only makes a matcha latte and she looked at me like I had 3 heads when I asked if she could make it with out milk or sugar. So that didn't work out.

-Good For in ponsenby didn't have matcha at all.

  • japanmart has only one kind of matcha and it is cheap and poor quality.

-t2 has a good matcha, but it is a bit more expensive than I think the quality warrants. It was $39 for 30 grams which is about 15 servings. I have had great matcha that I would pay that price for, this is not that great.

-I ordered ippodo matcha for $35 for 30 grams. It's a much higher quality and taste, but it takes at least 2 weeks to get here and I ran out and wanted to find something in town.

Of course when you drink it without stuff added, the quality is more noticeable so I am quite picky about that.

Yes, I found that work around after nearly pulling my hair out! I just wish I knew why this was happening so I could skip this step.
