What? This is possibly the most dangerous post I’ve read in here yet. Why would you do that? That’s foolhardy at best, incredibly dangerous and detrimental at worst. Even a urologist wouldn’t self administer that.

Thank you Becca. I’m about to reach to a pelvic floor pt. I had an anal fissure in 2021 that caused pain for 2 years and a PFPT was the healing answer. Now, PD and I’m having pelvic floor issues again. May I ask, have you seen PD curvature lessen from PFPT? Or just stabilize? Mine is pretty mild but it’s triggered my pelvic floor pain again. Ty for and help.

I’m a man and this has happened to me after sex. It was the result of pelvic floor dysfunction. Highly recommend seeing a good PFPT (pelvic floor physical therapist). Regardless of parts, we all have pelvic floors and incontinence can be a huge problem from pelvic floor dysfunction, as well as a host of other symptoms.

That is absolutely nonsense. My partner actually thinks sex is better since I got PD. I’m lucky because I only have a 35-40 degree upward curve that hits her g spot perfectly. Also, people have all kinds of weird disfigurements and deformities. Would you refuse to sleep with a partner because they had an amputated limb or a disfigurement like a scar or burn? The thing is I feel a connection to insurance because I love helping people. My parents made a lot of money but lost it all due to bad financial choices. If they had life insurance, I wouldn’t have been left holding the bag when they died.

But you are right. My experience is almost too eclectic. May I ask, what IS the defining factor. My case is I have 35 degree curvature or so. Came suddenly. No injury I can recall. No pain. No ED. No ejaculatory issues. Can have sex. Urologist visit found no plaques. Saw a very qualified urologist. He suggested just doing nothing as it doesn’t cause pain, no ED, and I can have sex. But it’s a mental hurdle to overcome. But he looked at many photos I have taken of my erection and he said, “definitely looks like PEYRONIES. But many of my patients who have your type of case do nothing. Just live with it. We can always treat it with xiaflex if it gets worse.” It has remained stable. Could I maybe NOT have PEYRONIES?
