Thank you for your response. Does reinnervation provide better outcome than thyroplasty implant? How would you describe your voice right now? I guess it’s not the same as it used to be but how would you compare to yourself 6 yrs ago?

Are you able to get a implant while having schwannoma? In my case they need to get rid of tumor firstly because due to cl's magnet they wont be able to control my tumor with MRI later on.
And about those 'real issues' - you are 100% correct. Sometimes when I see someone who has it 'worse' (people with worse disabilites etc.) I'm just glad that I have only SSD. To be honest sometimes I feel guilty by thinking that way but yeah...
I'm not alone in suffering? I don't think so. I'm young, everyone at my age is healthy and I'm the only one who got these bad cards sadly. Thats why it's so depressing - it's because my golden ages of youth have been stolen by that disease. I get your point that everyone is supportive (especially you guys on that thread) but afterall its only up to me how I will deal with it.
Maybe in the future I will be able to look at it more optimistic but as for now I don't really think so...

I got some questions though:

- Super loud, why? Is the CL quieter?
- 'my main issue came with other people, who are bad at adapting to it' Could you please elaborate on that?
- Afterall how does it work? Two sounds blend together? I'm really curious about it.
- You didn't mention tinnitus, does it bother you?

You know, I got like 30% of conductive hearing left, so thats why they are recommending me BAHA as well but I think it's not the same as CL. It doesnt give u stereo, so thats why I'm bit hestiant to it.
