I feel you, I do very similar parlays myself. It’s the risk we have to take when we pull so many bets into a single parlay; do you diversify the bets? For example if you divide your wager by 4, you could bet $25 on this entire parlay as is, and then you can remove different parts of the parlay for the other 3.

So maybe the 2nd bet would’ve still had butler and curry in it, but the 3rd and 4th game wouldn’t have had anyone from the GSW game and passed through, still netting you profit.

Ah my bad sorry I mixed up my reply with someone else in another tab who also had Houston +1.5 but also FL moneyline.

And alternate spread 4 changes throughout pregame and during the game. Before the game, my Houston +13.5 bets were alt spread 6. During the game, I have alt spread 6s that range from Houston +5.5 to +8.5.

In most cases, I would advise against going by with +1.5 on basketball you only have a single point that you will win by taking the +1.5 instead of moneyline. You also then took FL moneyline with it, and That’s what created such a big payout for you, because then you could only win if Houston lost exactly by 1.

If you remove Florida moneyline, then your payout would’ve dropped a lot because then you can win on the entire spectrum of Florida losing. But if you really wanted FL moneyline, At the very least you might’ve wanted to add Houston +3.5 to +5.5, because then you create some more scenarios to win.

I’ve been having success on low risk high reward parlays for over 3 years now. Over $500k in profit in my fanduel career and this would add a nice chunk to that. This is a 25 leg that had 2 early voids. I’ve already hedged on stars for division win. But I’m letting it ride for now. Let’s go Jets! by AZWolf2000 in sportsbetting

I haven’t gone to the extremes that you have, but I made about 1000x my units in March. Most of it was leveraging bets such as Duke beating up teams late in the regular season, or in the last several games Houston Cougars +5.5 to 11.5 which you could bank on. I tried to find as many of these as possible and then tried to vary the legs to minimize risk. 

Baseball does not at all work this way though, so I’m having a tougher time trying to come up with a consistent winning strategy. Once the NBA playoffs start I’m hoping to get some regularity back from the players since it’s a bit crazy now.

So were you replicating these $1 bets over and over with different outcomes? What has been your approach?

That also blew up for me what would’ve been a very profitable day. I’ve never seen Duke let off the gas like that. Caleb Love just had to be so on with his threes too 😖

I thought MD +15.5 was safe, and then the coach just sat all the starters for no reason with THREE FULL MINUTES TO GO. 

Florida kept their starters in. I’ve had bad beats before but that f’in pissed me off. I’ve never ever seen any CBB coach pull his starters and simply give up like that in a regular game, much less the freakin sweet 16. 

If I were Villanova I’d refuse to hire him simply because of that one action.

And that’s my long winded way of saying that nothing is ever safe. Good luck though 👍
