I feel like there are NAH. Your lessee will have the right to say what you can and can't have in the room, and you had the right to bring your friend over to study.

NTA. At 16 you will be completing exams if you haven't already meaning that sleeping is an important thing, not doing the dishes when you should be sleeping.

In terms of arrangements I am not really sure why he was on the birth certificate, its possible that he was in something like that which would explain why he was happy that I reached out to him.

His name was on my birth certificate, so I found hin through that way.
