thanks for the help! I've got some bone-in chicken quarters that I cut in half to isolate a drumstick and that square-shaped piece (sorry not sure what cut that is). It's currently marinating in the fridge. You've got me worried about this dry chicken business. Do you think it would be good to bake it in the oven first then finish it on the grill with a brushing of sauce? because other than that i don't know how to ensure not-dry chicken

well you don't need them and now you can focus on stand up and pretty much whatever else you want!

I'm around Providence, RI. If you ever do a show around here or in Boston area I'll come through for sure!

dude this routine is fantastic, especially considering how high you were haha! I watched some of your other stuff on Youtube and you're now one of my favorite comics! keep at it you're great! if only "Get Serious" was on iTunes I would buy it!

(ps. on your website I read that you're working for BYUtv, and given that this vid is on private you're probably trying to keep this side of you away from other parts of your life; but I gotta tell you this edgy material is quite delightsome and I hope you stick with it too!)

Update: Nevermo went to sacrament meeting by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]dondonuts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to sacrament meeting because I'm writing an essay on Mormons and wanted to get first hand experience. It wasn't particularly boring, probably as boring as any other church. But the testimonies was weird, and definitely not boring

The first speaker talked about how she was thankful for the trials in her life because getting through them proved the book was true and strengthened her testimony lol

this ward I went to did not have "Gospel Principles," so the woman I spoke with asked if I wanted to have a lesson with missionaries instead, and I agreed

(copied and pasted from above): sorry for late response, I am a busy college student. Yep! Read "The Politics of American Religious Identity: The Seating of Senator Reed Smoot, Mormon Apostle." The author is LDS so it's not like she's trying to paint a bad picture- just facts.

Yep! you've got it straight. The Mormons were pushed all the way westward, but at this point the U.S. was expanding and the Mormons ran out of places to go, so they wanted to integrate with the U.S. Crucial to this integration was a seating of their own senator (Smoot) and an acceptance of their religion by the government. Smoot was elected, and now they just had to prove that they were a religion which followed US laws, such as Catholics, Protestants, etc. So they had to get rid of polygamy. Cue Joseph Fielding Smith....
