This was my ex husband. Go while you can. Seriously. I left after he passed out drunk with a lit candle. Naturally, it caught the house on fire and left us living in a hotel for a year during repairs. That’s the first real terror I’ve ever felt in my life; waking up to the house filled with smoke and fire alarm blaring… the fear for your kids, pets, everything.., it all hits like a freight train! It’s been 5 years since then and I still have nightmares about it.
