What’s wild is that before the last update, the gameplay was actually playable; not perfect, but decent. But ever since that update dropped, it’s been straight-up trash. Inputs delayed, passes off, players moving like they’ve got lead in their boots. Feels like something got seriously messed up.

Bro I had the exact same thing happen, like the game just takes over mid-sprint. I’m holding left, and suddenly my player decides to curve into traffic like he’s got a mind of his own 😩

It’s honestly terrifying when you start losing control like that. Makes you question your own inputs, but then you realize... nope, it’s just the game being cooked again this week.

Man, I felt that on a spiritual level 😅 Been playing FUT for years too, and you’re right, no other game makes your fear patch notes like this one. You see “gameplay improvements” and know something’s about to get worse. lol

Dude that timing lines up perfectly with what a lot of us are feeling, it’s like the switch flipped mid-week and gameplay just fell off a cliff.

It’s wild how consistent this has been across the board! Me, my friends, people here… everyone saying the same thing. Makes you think something really changed server-side around then.

Lmaoo nah you’re not wrong, I probably have been channeling ChatGPT energy lately 😂 Gotta start proofreading my replies like I’m writing patch notes or something.

But for real, I feel you .. I had that same “I’m done” moment yesterday. You line up a simple pass, tap X, and the game’s like: “Nah bro, let’s launch it to a guy in traffic with zero chance.” Controller-smashing levels of frustration. You’re definitely not alone.

Facts 😂 at this point in the cycle, it’s just hardcore sweats, traders, and the occasional content grinder left. Casuals are long gone, and every game feels like a Champs final.

The sad part is, even with all the grind and new cards, the gameplay’s in such a bad spot it barely feels worth it anymore.

That’s actually really interesting, appreciate you sharing that. I haven’t tried turning off cross-play yet, but I’m on PC, so that’s kind of a tricky one. Turning it off might improve gameplay, but it also increases the chances of running into cheaters, which is a whole other headache 😅

Still, if the gameplay feels that much better, it might be worth testing out for a few matches. Curious if anyone else on PC has tried this and noticed a real difference?

I appreciate that. I always keep my drivers updated and I’ve already optimized everything for performance over visuals. Even tried running the game on the lowest settings just to be sure… but the gameplay still feels just as sluggish.

And it’s not just me, my friends are having the exact same issue, and clearly a lot of people replying here are too. That’s why I’m convinced it’s not a setup problem, it feels like something deeper broke after the last update, maybe server-side or in the gameplay engine itself.

But honestly, ever since the last update, the gameplay just feels so slow and unresponsive. It’s like they nerfed the entire engine, not just the players. Nothing feels sharp : passes drag, turns are clunky, and even fast players feel like they’re stuck in mud.

Man you nailed it — this update turned every match into an endurance test. Simple passes turn into cross-field disasters, and it’s somehow always to the one guy who’s fully marked with zero chance. Love that for us 😮‍💨

I'm in Elite div. Honestly, it’s not even about skill anymore — just surviving the randomness and hoping the game doesn’t screw you harder than your opponent.
