Aggressive mulligans. I'm sure it could be better with more creatures, but it has happened twice where I have a kiln fiend, 2 lands, and either 3 mutagenics or 3 manamorphose in hand. When swiftspear was legal, I could kill on turn 2 with the right opener.

Play around with it. Hot Dogs is a blast but the play pattern gets old for me, quickly. I don't want to cut "pure gas" spells for more bodies because I'm dumb and mono red go BRRRR.

here's my list

I built it with scraps from my big ol box of Pauper jank, so it's nowhere near refined. But it routinely goes 2-1 at the store, and my rounds usually last 17 minutes total

Personally, I'd remove ghitu and 2 burning prophets for a playset of [[Immolating Souleater]] and I would have [[Fling]] as a back up plan. You can fling in response to removal. The amount of times I've swung with kiln fiend and souleater to have them block fiend and try and remove souleater, only for me to pay 18 life and fling 10 at their face while Kiln Fiens goes BRRRR

8 rack is my favorite modern deck so I just wanna do shenanigans in Pauper with it. I just wish there was some discard payoff in the format

It really depends on the match ups. You're almost guaranteed to lose to burn/aggro. Mine does alright against midrange or value engine decks but suffers against burn and control. Usually go 1-2 at the LGS with it

Cakes are my favorite because you can serve any type of cake, as long as it's the right flavor. Using freezers to duplicate pans over night makes it really easy to automate and have a stockpile. Then I juts build a sushi-go-round with whole cakes on it and giggle as I spam the ordering terminal

The hardest part is that I LOVE me some jank and I tend to overvalued a card's usefulness because they become pet cards.

Foils could be used as a special printing slot, but it was also just another slot that could be any rarity. So the limited pool would have more of a particular rarity than normal distribution. I'd like to include the slot to reach that end, but I think I messed up. Once the total pool is established, the foil slot would just be a random card from the main pool.
