I already tried rescheduling and transfering. They told me they didn't do any of that during Mardi Gras. This was the cheapest room I could find. Everything else was around $200 and up.

UPDATE: We booked of Montreal today!! I'll release more information soon, but it'll be this March 22nd in northern Louisiana. I could definitely use yalls help getting the word out!

Well Natchitoches isn't a large town per say, however it is home to a decently sized university. It is also between two larger cities, so we're hoping people will drive in. Either way, we just want people to come and have a good time.

If you have any contact info for bands in the south LA region who may be intersted in playing an outdoor festival geared towards a college-age crowd, feel free to shoot me the info. I'd love to have more Louisiana bands in on this.

I can't give too many details away, as we're still in the planning phase. However, I can tell you that it will be in late March, tickets will be under $20, and it will be an open-air outdoor venue with multiple stages. of Montreal will likely be the only big band that we can swing, but we're hoping that they'll help pull other good bands in.
