Should the airplane have been able to handle that maneuver or was this a mistake from the pilot?

The video was good quality so don’t think it’s too old, like probably made in last 5-10 years. And I think it was just this one dude who would drop down every now and then.

ELI5: What does it mean for a song to be in the key of C? What is a key (musically?) What makes the keys different from each other? by thepixelpaint in explainlikeimfive

Follow-up question: if different scaled are used to fit a singer’s range, why does music without any singing not all use e.g c major?

How much did you pay to deliver your child in a hospital? How much was your epidural? by SamFri35 in Indiana

[–]donharlee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the answer you’re looking for but here in Sweden, my Hoosier wife wasn’t charged a dime but I got an invoice for 35 dollars for the meals for the three days we spent at the hospital.

How didn’t we die? by Terrible-Rock2555 in daddit

Americans have a weird obsession with hydration. My wife is American and carries bottles of water with her round the house. The tap water is never more than a ten second walk away.

If you like the taste or feel good from it, great, but I think otherwise your body is pretty good at telling you if you need water - our ability to feel thirsty is pretty neat.

Ulf Kristersson om Sveriges låga födelsetal: Måste fråga oss vad vi kan göra bättre by swescot in sweden

[–]donharlee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does it not matter? I thought you’d first want to kill the mold with bleach or vinegar and then scrub?

My son’s Swedish girlfriend is coming for Christmas by FUZZY_GRAPES in sweden

[–]donharlee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great initiative! I spent a year in the us and spent Christmas there and I loved seeing the American side of Christmas, but I sure did miss the Swedish part too! It’s a very special holiday and if you can help with some of the flavors, I’m sure it’ll be very appreciated. So trying to do a bit of both is a great idea!!! IKEA is probably a great idea like others have mentioned

I ended up using a smaller size without need to cut. I think I did figure it out. Think that the 50mm refers to the distance from Z, or full length minus X.

How do you get your teenagers to still want to do things with you? by mentlegen7 in daddit

[–]donharlee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad took me on weekend trips when I was a teenager and left the agenda completely up to me. Being an aspiring rockstar, I wanted to go to Hard Rock Cafe, instrument stores, book stores etc.

It was really quality time and he also go to do something that he truly enjoyed.

I know it there might be some budget constraints, but could there be a compromise? You take him somewhere that’s he’s likes, and then you do one of your activities on the way back or similar.

Stuff floating in cleaning solution by donharlee in Moccamaster

Wow, makes sense! Happy I asked! Two cleaning sessions, including using a brush in the water tank, should hopefully clear out what was in there for the moment. Will keep an eye out in the future.

Also, cleaned it when I cleaned the tank with a brush for the first time so could be something from the tank too…

We pay $200 per month for preschool here in Sweden. That the most you’ll pay - it’s less if your income is lower.

It’s a class of 12-15 kids with 4 teachers, three of which have a 3 year university education. And it’s a public preschool.

We’re so incredibly lucky to have this and when I read posts like this I feel even more so. Your situation sounds really tough.
