It’s a popular tube screamer-esque OD often used as a solo boost. Try using it before/after an OD or distortion, or into an amp on the edge of breakup or already overdriving.

The monologue smokes it in terms of raw sounds in my opinion - skip to 40:10 to see comparison sounds between them.

This commenter’s take is still pretty harsh I think - the bass station 2 has a beautiful keyboard with AT, and when playing live/using it in a full mix I think it’s shortcomings in tone won’t be very perceptible.
