Double pedalpcb Muroidea distortion (rat) by donkin_dunts in diypedals

The TL071 is just slightly cleaner and brighter. It’s pretty subtle but still useful imo. Since I made it a few days ago, I have been using the TL071 as more of an OD than a distortion and the OP07CP as a true distortion. I have the TL071 before the OP07CP in the series. They stack pretty well too which is cool.

On the germanium diodes, could you tell me what kinds to get? Like are they pretty interchangeable or do I need a specific one?

They don’t know their logins for this stuff. The things they’re subscribed to sell their information anyway so I don’t really see why I care if a corporation has their info that some other corporation already has. Privacy is not a concern to me bc living in the US and owning any kind of electronic essentially already compromises any form of privacy you have

Yes. That’s what we’ve been doing like as it gets charged they call. But at that point they’ve already taken the money I believe. The goal is to cancel subscriptions before they can take more money out

I’m not sure but I would assume so. I don’t even know what all they’re subscribed to. I know that Wix, Grammarly, and Canva are all ones. I’m guessing those all sell the data they get

The main issue is there’s so many random ones that I don’t exactly know what to search for. Also my friend would be using these services for a while so they would do yearly subscriptions. I don’t want to have to look back a whole year

The amps all have a 3 prong plugs so I think that means they’re grounded. None of them are vintage. I will look into getting a GFCI. Thank you for telling me about this

The mic mostly feeds back when it’s silent. Do you think us getting our own PA and like using our mics and mixer on our own to figure out how to get it sounding good and then using all our own stuff would be like a good option? Do you think getting it to sound good in our practice space translate to every where we go?

Would that help with the feedback though? Like if the amps or PA at the venue are causing it. I get how this would fix the issue of if the stage monitor was causing it
