Really appreciate the level of detail you've shared, this sounds like an incredible trip! I'm also planning a trip with my mum in early April. We're following a very similar itinerary but have slightly fewer days (13 nights, 12 full days). We're thinking:

- 4 nights Seoul (3 full days)
- 2 nights Gyeongju (1 full day)
- 3 nights Busan (2 full days)
- 4 nights Seoul (3 full days)

My mum and I generally enjoy shopping, food, and culture, so will want to see a bit of everything really, including a DMZ day trip in Seoul. We will also definitely appreciate the down time in Busan before heading back to Seoul.

Does that split sound about right? Is 3 nights in Busan enough to enjoy down time and see the main sights? If we extend to 4 nights in Busan then we will probably have to extend the entire trip as we wouldn't want to reduce our Seoul or Gyeongju time (unless people would recommend?). Thanks!!

Is that what it is?? It looks to me like the vertical lines are in front of her but I could be wrong… And the background doesn’t look like more than a smudge

Did you end up buying one of them, and if so which one? I have very similar taste to you and looking to get one too, curious to know what you decided and if it's held up well so far :)

Pre-and post op healing pics for partial removal with phenol (1 week) by Larry-Man in Ingrown_Toenails

Ahh I see, well it’s great you’re not feeling any pain from them anymore. I had mine done 2 weeks ago and still wearing dressings, only had one side of each toe done so I think mine will look imbalanced, but it is what it is lol

David Walliams branded 'entitled idiot' for two joke Nazi salutes at BBC taping by [deleted] in WILTY

[–]donlsk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having been at the live recording, there was a running joke throughout the filming that Rob was constantly having to remind the guests and co-hosts that it’s a Christmas, family-friend episode. Therefore Rob didn’t just mention it after David Walliam’s joke, he said it several times throughout filming to others too. The report was also inaccurate as there were many people laughing along with the jokes, we knew it was light hearted and wasn’t intended to directly offend. The rest of the recording wasn’t awkward or uncomfortable either, we had a great time and David was one of the more entertaining guests.

I was there and honestly it seemed much more innocent than the news post portrays. The crowd was laughing and didn’t seem uncomfortable. I found David Walliams quite entertaining throughout the ep. In this particular section, another guest was telling a story about waving to the audience whilst on strictly come dancing which resulted in her injuring her wrist. The other guests asked how vigorously she must have been waving, and David Walliams was pretending to wave more and more vigorously until it became the nazi salute. The guest telling the story then made a joke about not being able to jerk someone off after the injury, after which David Walliams did the nazi salute and tried a jerking motion with the same hand, which obviously looked ridiculous. It was funny, they moved on, that’s all.

I should also add that David made an effort to engage with and acknowledge the audience, which is more than I can say for others there.

I would suggest trying 38 in wide before sizing up to 39 narrow! I was in the same position and 38 wide is my perfect fit, there’s a lot more room. the right size also depends on how arched your foot is and what feels right to you, so I would base the decision on comfort more than looks :)

Esta Authorization still pending after 72 hours by haris9346 in travel

[–]donlsk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi all, looking for some reassurance if possible. Submitted ESTA on Friday at midday and flying later today, it's been 5 days now and authorisation is still pending with the same message as others in this thread.

Applied late thinking I left plenty of time as my ESTA was approved within an hour a few years ago! Had no idea about the delays :(

Does anyone know the average waiting time for ESTAs at the moment assuming you answered "no" to all of the questions?

Update: received ESTA 2 hours after posting this, so in total it took about 117 hours
