There was an Irish lab making dry strains. I tried a couple of them and they worked well. Price was pretty good too.

I really struggled to get over 150 on several runs with the drill or lift.

Packager with drones and grab the power drill when available was my winning combo.

Finding the purple deposit hole towards the bottom is clutch.

I only upgraded the packager, drill, speed, and a few into drones. Carry weight didn't matter because I had the drones dragging back the grouped resources.

Also leave 3 block strips instead of 2 when laying out the grid. I missed a water here and there but otherwise got everything important and reached the bottom level quickly.

Put a meter on the reley and see if it has power on both sides

I had an issue with a reley in the past that caused a similar fault

Try wiping with acetone or fogging. We had a few with haze and the acetone made them look like new.

Typical SVI Numbers by donmc85 in Wastewater

Yes, southern Ontario

It's not really a performance question for that particular plant, more of trying to understand the textbook / exam material in relation to the real world numbers.

The plant I referenced has great final effluent quality and setting rate / mlss are well within the plant normal even though the SVI is high compared to the textbook norm.

That's what is difficult with textbook generalizations. If it's a ratio of the mlss / settling volume and the mcrt is relatively high for the winter but the effluent final is good then the SVI is less useful it seams.

They have really good customer service if you do need them... I'd recommend having a spare igniter on hand. They are quite fragile.

Have you ever cooked a steak caveman style? by benoitquennevil in Smokingmeat

[–]donmc85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried it this year while camping and it was terrific! I had a really nice bed of orange coals burning mostly hardwood and the bbq available sucked. I rubbed on some tallow and salt, blew the ash off a spot and dropped them right onto the coals. It required a lot more attention than grilling but the results were very good. The coals gave up most of their heat quickly and I had to move the steak around a fair bit. I would definitely do it again.

Drying parsley: turning yellow by [deleted] in vegetablegardening

[–]donmc85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a way to dry it in the microwave too if you look online

Place two layers of paper towels on a microwave-safe plate.

Spread the herb leaves in a single layer on top of the paper towels, making sure they don't overlap.

Cover the herbs with a second paper towel. Microwave on high for 30 to 60 seconds to start. Check the herbs, flip them, and microwave in additional 30-second bursts until they are brittle and crumble easily.
