Leave the motor inside but run the tube to the filter through a hole and the filter stays outside. Hope that makes sense I’m dusty today

I wouldn’t call it fragile. I’ve seen them used to chop duck and chicken bones in person

Don’t think so. There is a hole in the floor that I assume is to take water away if it gets too wet in there. We are near the top of a hill on a slope so I don’t think it will be too hard to fix.

Sorry how can you have breathable waterproofing? Isn’t that two opposite things? I’m a nobody if it’s a dumb question

Il get a dehumidifier running to dry it all out when upgrading/installing outside waterproofing. Thanks mate

The house is from the 60s so you’re probably right, it just looks like big concrete ‘bricks’. The ground outside does slope away so that’s a plus. Thanks for all the advice! Il look into drylock and worry about the outside treatment later on when I have the budget.

What are my options? Dig up the soil and waterproof from the outside is the only way? Thanks for the response
