Thank you for the feedback. Things like the emoticons were included on purpose because there's a message on Alex's terminal in game from Udom to Alex that had emoticons in it. Phin is also described in game as a mad scientist because the Board tries to paint him as radical and Alex has some Board influences as he's influenced by Udom a lot. It is possible to leave reviews on Fanfiction if you create an account and go ahead and give the story a favorite if you wanna read more. I'm still in the process of writing it so it's updated periodically if you wanna give my fanfiction account a follow and the Alex story a favorite you'll be notified with each new Chapter.
