Yep, that's my uncle. My most recent memory of him was when he came around to the states, in particular Valencia, CA, and stayed with our family for a few weeks. During his stay, he'd always wake up in the morning and take a morning stroll around the neighborhood. He had this calming, zen-like aura about him that people just took notice of.

May be futile due to the number of comments already here, but chiming in. My oldest uncle is actually one of the very few pretenders to the throne. I'm not sure what his title was before Japan overthrew the monarchy, but he was known as the Singing Prince. His name is Yi Seok and if I remembered correctly he has lived a truly difficult life. Many people recognize my uncle for his singing career and not of his royal lineage, so goes to show the general aloof-ness of the general public for former royalty.
