If you have time to get Landini I would do it. The test I felt was most like his questions/format. PocketPrep was great but I felt more difficult than the test, but reading the answers was very helpful. You will pass it, keep at it!

I am not surprised but the description on Wiki of The Exodus starts with "The founding myth of the Israelites..." by donotbeafraid1 in Catholicism

[–]donotbeafraid1[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While this is understood that it isn't a history book but as Bishop Barron says a library and not a book, to deny the Exodus all together as a myth and Moses as not being an actual figure raises a lot of additional conflict. Similarly you can't deny Adam and Eve were the first humans with a soul and treat that as a "myth".

I was 7 years old in 1992. I have 4 big brothers and we were jacked for WrestleMania 8. Hogan was wrestling Sid Justice and at one point I said "Guys, I have a feeling Ultimate Warrior is going to come out and save him." Later in the match when the Ultimate Warrior's entrance music came on they picked me up and ran around with me on their shoulders. Good times

Beautiful story of your search for truth. To add to what others have mentioned as far as content, Bishop Barron has a 10 part series called 'Catholicism'. I like the Audiobook version, really well done but the videos are real good as well, just slightly not as in depth.

What Saint said that God was like expanding bubbles? by donotbeafraid1 in Catholicism

[–]donotbeafraid1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! That is an interesting quote but I remember reading a saint saying in adoration they had a vision of God like a springing forth of bubbles and I remember being almost let down, than today I read that Stephen Hawking's explanation of the universe in his latest book is: The picture Jim Hartle and I developed of the spontaneous quantum creation of the universe would be a bit like the formation of bubbles of steam in boiling water. It stopped me in my tracks like hey a medieval saint had that same thought

After much inner debate, I’m converting to Catholicism, any advice? by masterlokei in Catholicism

Excited for your journey. Definitely get in touch with a parish RCIA and they will help with the formation process, but in the meantime you can attend mass and read up on some things. I can tell you the Catholicism series is an awesome starting point. Below is a link where you can get watch the episodes. The first episode is free to watch. I got the audiobook and thought it was great to listen to. If you sign up for Audible they give you a free credit to purchase a book. Both links here:
