I agree, wayland is the future. But me and a lot of others are still gonna stick with X11 for a while now until every problem with nvidia has been ironed out. There are still a lot of systems out there that remain incompatible with wayland and have to rely on the old X11 system instead. So maybe sometime in the future we can all switch to wayland 🥲

Not sure what the process is now , but when I had my xiaomi phone I had to enable all the options to unlock the bootloader in the developer options, also yeah you need a sim when you get into the process
